My Amazon order of the rest of wave 1 Combiner Wars came in today. They're a lovely group of figures.

So I was in Liverpool today and I popped into Forbidden Planet to look what they had left from last time.

4 Voyager Springers, no more Blitzwings, Sandstorms or SkyByte's to be seen, deluxes they had the same as last time but now have plenty of Windblade's and chromia's and the minicon assault team (Centuritron?) I was debating whether to get Chromia or the Mini-cons, not that I particularly wanted either, just wanted my fix of plastic for a couple of weeks before the rest of the stunticons/armada megatron I pre-ordered are in stock, decided against both as I have no need for chromia and the mini-con team cost £17, if it was a little cheaper I probably would have had it but i'm sure I can find it cheaper online if I decided to pick it up.

Popped over to the toys R us in Liverpool 1, they were sold out of the RID figures but they had an empty peg with the label on it. Popped in to the entertainer and to my surprise they had shelf space for the RID figures, and a label for them too, they only had a Strongarm left though and I don't particularly like the look of that figure so left it, she was £15 in there. So if people have entertainer's near them it might be worth a look if you don't have a Toys r us or Smyths nearby

Popped into my local TRU (Newbury Park, near Ilford) today and found the Combiner Wars Voyagers and Deluxes. No legends, sadly, but I took the plunge and decided on going for Menasor by picking up Drag Strip. Just couldn't resist him.

They appeared to have a few Hero Mashers and a few Legions/Warriors sized RiD figures.

I even offered a bunch of stuff for free, anywhere in the country, postage on me. Yup, 28 years and he can finally deal with it.
What really narks me though, is that he doesn't come with a matrix. He's got a fully functioning matrix chest cavity and a set of made specifically to hold a matrix, but no matrix to actally use them with.
The one pictured is from MP02, which is too big to the cavity and I don't own any version of the MP10 or MP09 molds to rob a matrix from.

Well, just been told by a friend that no combiner wars in Notts TRU, so I still only have Silverbolt.

I think MP09 and MP10 do have different matrixes. Rodimus has a tiny one, I think MP10 is based on the die cast one that came with the toon accurate Galvatron which looks closed on one side and open on the other side. But can check properly when I get home. Pretty sure MP01 had a unique Matrix we haven't seen again (obviously barring his repaints)

Reissue Galvatron has the same matrix as the RTS battle in space rodimus and cyclonus set. It's solid metal, doesn't the MP10 matrix have a clear plastic centre?

I know it's all detailed on the TFWiki anyways.

Everybody knows that the North is superior, both in humour and raw moral fibre! We've also got the cheap ale, chips and gravy (none of that curry shite) AND Corrie... It's a no contest! :KREMZEEK:

In the case of alcohol though, I do believe there is a case for unity! Bring collections, get pissed and show off our Transformers to disinterested bar girls? What's not to look forward to!?

Based on. Just compared them, and though there are minor detailing differences on the handle, they are the same size. And while the galvy one is solid die cast, the mp10 is solid metal casing with a clear plastic core. Granted mine is the black convoy version, but still. Though I thought galvy had an 'open' side and a 'closed' side as the mp10 is (hence me saying based on) but it doesn't. But being the same size and shape, the galvy\battle in space !atrix should fit magnus.

The one side open\one shut is Roddy's matrix. I knew there was one like that before mp10.

Back in Norwich, dropped by TRU.

They had all four CW deluxes, AoE Slash and Drift, and plenty of RID stuff, from Warriors to HyperChange to Legion! I got nothing.

Glad to see my local isn't the only one still inundated with the Generations Prime and Bumblebee legends (at least, it was last I was in a few months back, and such things don't tend to change much there

)
