I'm getting increasingly concerned that we are going to have Wave 2 skipped over here...

The taking down of the listing for it from The Entertainer. The Wave 3 listings appearing with a street date of little over a month. It's not looking good.

Over saturation of Wave 1 and a higher price point perhaps?

I read on the TFW thread that forbidden planet have confirmed that the shipping date for Wave 2 is later than the date for wave 3.

Maybe there was some sort of problem with the UK/European versions and they were recalled?
Probably some sort of issue with the packaging/collectors cards being swapped over for the comics. [/wildguesswork]

I think we'll still probably see wave 2 but we'll get wave 3 first.

I'm pretty excited.

I normally just preorder everything nowadays, but I have fond memories of scouring all the local toy shops with my grandfather as a kid looking for the Gold Box "Classics" protectobots. I'm eagerly awaiting the nostalgia bomb of hunting down an entire other set of new ones. :grin:

I have to admit that half the fun of collecting for me is going to a shop and finding something I need. The rush of finding a new wave definitely out ways the disappointment of finding a million Bumblebees 90% of the time!

So to that end I have not been pre ordering anything that there is a small hope of appearing in store.

It may take a while, but we should see wave 2. We usually get wave 1 and 2, just a whooooollllleeeee lotta months later.

It's wave 3 I reckon we won't see in stores. When was the last time we saw a wave 3 outside something like FP? That's why I ordered them off kapow. But if we do get a wave 3 in stoes, I'm gonna be picking up 2 extra Rooks for my Liokaiser.

Wave 3 is looking certain for June according to the Smyths website.

Sunstorm is definitely worth £40, I got him last time he was on offer and unlike Starscream his chest actual holds together pretty well.

I believe he's wave 2.

Thundercracker is being billed as wave 3. So Megs has to be wave 2. I don't think there were any leader wave 1.

Toys r us uk have both combiner wars leader Megatrons listed on their website. Although both say out of stock a guy on a transformers Facebook page has picked up the g1 version in his local TRU today. Worth checking if anyone is interested?

In my local TRU, they had one G1 style version and 2 armada versions. I myself am more interested in finishing Superion or getting Defensor.

In other news, picked up a Sandstorm from Harlow B&M, leaving a Whirl and a Rhinox. Very nice figure, and my first triple changer! (I wasn't around when g1 was creared)

And also, you can buy all of Wave 2 (minus legends) on Amazon, though they are over priced. £31 for Air Raid??? And you can also get all the Wave 3 legends for around £18 on there, and Leader Thundercracker for £60.

Update: My mistake, wave 2 legends are on amazon aswell!

Picked up G1 Megs there this morning. They had one G1 and one Armada, cunningly hidden behind a lone Silverbolt.

Left the Armada because I don't think I could quite justify £100 on 2 relatively the same figures after forking out of MP Magnus this week...

Sorry, I was there at like 12 maybe. Perhaps we should try coordinating these trips and help each other out in future, would have happily nabbed the Armada one for you if I had known. But not the G1. He is mine. You cant have him.
