Has anyone else got Skyebyte? Is he any good? I only really picked him up as a generations voyager for £6.25 after the 2nd half price deal was too good to pass up.

I've plumped for the slightly more expensive but sure thing by ordering him from Argos at £11.24. Still cheaper than the full whack of £14.99, should be picking him up tomorrow!

Their tf stock wasn't great but they do have a buy one get one half price deal on all hasbro transformers toys so I got the little lad some botshots he wanted and myself Skyebyte for half price, can't go wrong! They also had another Skyebyte, 4 roadbusters and 2 Springers.

I got him in the hopes someone on here needed him / for trading stock. I ended up opening him up since nobody seemed to need him, but I'm not a massive fan. Almost a complete lack of articulation in his alt mode (for obvious reasons). Paint is caked on and looks eager to chip off, little silver paint spots all over him in places there shouldn't be. Bot mode is surprisingly large of stature, but almost every limb is hollow save for his gun arm thingie. He has a fair bit of articulation, but every pose he can pull off looks really gangly, mainly due to how much his back kibble gets in the way and his right arm has a major monkeygrip thing going on.
Fair play, I don't really have much attachment to the character and I never intended to pick him up, but I'm not really happy with how he turned out. I was expecting him to be a bit of a hidden jem. That's probably an unpopular opinion on my part, since everyone else seems to be pretty happy with the mould.
Incidentally, I'm gonna sell / trade him if anyone's interested.

I too picked up a Gen Sky-Byte cheap via Ebay lena81822 on a whim, wanting to try out a new beast figure for a laugh.
I agree somewhat with what you said, perhaps my feelings on this figure are still low as I don't have an attachment to the character or know of his TF history, so for the moment he remains in bot mode, in limbo aka that bit of desk next to the Detolf cabinets!
PM ME PLEASE!-

I am hopefully checking it out tonight for a springer and double dealer (maybe even a sandstorm) but don't want a wasted trip.

Newport B&M had Roadbuster if that's any help. I may get down there tomorrow so if you're after anything else in particular I'm happy to send it on, or hide it, if I find it, let me know. Bear in mind that they might have bugger all.

Why do I not get any emails about this thread?
I once bought a Arkham City Mr Freeze from Star Action Figures. Very pleased with the service, really quick delivery. I'd buy from them again if they ever had anything else I wanted.

Aw, bugger! Was down that way picking up a parcel a few days ago. Cheers though, good to know he is around. Wish I'd checked this thread sooner.Mr O wrote:Primacron's Little Helper wrote:I keep on seeing B&M trucks driving past my work, damn teases.

I've been keeping an eye on B&Ms around the 'diff, and they seem to be getting through stock quite quickly, so between them and TRU I'm optimistic.

Nothing but a combiner wars optimus and the three wave one combiner limbs (no sky dive) and thrilling 30 legends class bumblebee and optimus At toys r us watford.
The entertainer was closed but I was in there yesterday, no thrilling 30 but they had the entire combiner wars wave one minus the four legends.
Going to get to frien barnet Smyths and hayes b & m over the next week, hopefully find a springer and maybe a doubledealer or blitzwing
Happy hunting
