Well, I expected more and got absolutely nothing from my visits to my northern home town in regards to Transformers, heck I even went to a local working mens club in the afternoon with my Dad to check out a small local auction for local people where I found a couple of broken Transformers (DotM Shockwave and Prime Deadend) but own them already.
We had a pint and a game of Bingo!

I mean, cool that they don't just ignore the system, but surely we were all aware by now that the Generations 30 line was over. No?

As you would expect! no sign of Motormaster at Forbidden Planet(Glasgow) a lot of people have reported not finding one there too!
B&M Glasgow have Roadbuster, Springer & SkyBite
TRU had sweet F A in! in the new Transformers releases category! although someone had mentioned somewhere that MP Sunstorm had been taken down off the TRU website, but he was still on the shelf in the Glasgow store that I was in!
as for Asda(Glasgow, Govan) as what most are finding......absolutely NO Wave 3' s in yet! they are probably only out at the moment in certain areas(obviously) but according to Smyths Toys website....Hot Spot & Cyclonus are out between the 8th & 15th June! so we'll probably(& hopefully) see Wave 3 more widespread by then.
& the only thing worth noting at Smyths Toys Glasgow today is they have the thrilling 30 Voyager Class Generations Rhinox in! as well as the shelfwarming Roadbuster

I did notice that they've cut down the amount of CW stuff though. They've halved the Wave 1 stock and put out more AoE stuff. I'm hoping it's because they've run down the Wave 1 stock and are using the AoE stuff as filler until Wave 3 figures come in, but it may be because they're not selling many CW figure in my area, so have run down the stock and just put whatever else they had lying around in the stock room.

On my way back I decided to pop into the Asda Superstore at Westbrook, didn't think they'd have anything interesting but to my surprise they had Wave 3 combiner wars, 2 cases of them, had to wait around to find a staff member to get a First Aid from the capping shelves at the top but I left with all 4, they had a full set left after I bought mine, £14.97 each. Now I just need to get my hands on a Hot Spot.
Went down to Westbrook based upon this and there was no wave 3 figures which was a bugger. I really want First Aid for my Lost Light crew!
I did pick up the last remaining G1 Megatron at TRU though and he is bloody glorious. I adore him. He's just so... Awesome.

It's safe to assume that I'm just taking the piss.

Nice. The bad thing for me is that my local store shut down a little while back, and so did my local Smyths. I have just a TRU near me (at the end of my road), but they seem to be lagging behind with CW.

The nearest TRU to me is the one on the Metrocentre site in Gateshead. It takes two hours to get there from where I live by train, so visits there are only a special once-or-twice-a-year thing for me. That being said though, I've rarely been disappointed by the Gateshead TRU, I picked up an Age of Extinction Deluxe Slug when I was last there.

not much help here but I have MP Magnus.
He is a glorious figure. Nice and meaty, looks great and does a fine turn on my MP shelf (Although his size and the proliferation of Autobot MP's have relegated my 'cons to a holding area awaiting new shelf space
As much as I love him, he doesn't really fit with my Generations Figures so I am still 100% intent on getting the CW Magnus. I was intending to wait for him to appear over here though, but seeing as Wave 2 has been passed by I think I'll be ordering him in the next week or so.

My CW Magnus arrived this morning, now obviously I'm biased because I love the character but he is a good figure. However he's not great.
As with all of the leader/voyagers in this line his hip ratchets and lack on ankle tilt really hurt him and it sucks that he can't hold his guns properly.
I don't really like Ambus either, I'm not into the IDW stuff so I kind of take offense that Magnus is reduce to, what is essentially a midgets tuxedo.
Ambus the toy is smaller than I expected and seriously lacks paint but without him sitting in the cab in robot mode it leaves a odd cavity around Magnus head which IMO could have been better engineered.
The transformation is quite fun and not overly complicated, plastic is solid if a little hollow, but there really is nothing to complain about in his vehicle mode. Well maybe a little bit more paint would have been nice.
With that said I really do like him, I'm happy I got him and he does look awesome standing on the shelf. He Fits nicely with generations, especially with the rest of the Wreckers.
So, yes I would recommend picking him up.

Bit gutted, since it means I won't be able to lay my filthy mits on a magnus of my own this month.
Knowing my luck, Devastator will hit retail the month after and I'll be obligated to pick him up before the scalpers descend, and I *still* won't have a Magnus.
By then he'll be sold out pretty much everywhere and I'll have to pray he shows up at forbidden planet, or fork over evilbay money for him.
I guess Beast-hunters Magnus will be holding vigil on my season 3 chug shelf for some time to come : /

Depends on where your getting Magnus! If your expecting to see him anytime soon in the stores in the UK....then you may have a bit of a wait! As there are lots of parts & regions of the country that still don't have the Protectobots in yet! even though they've been spotted in CERTAIN areas(hopefully within a week or so...that should change.....& we possibly could see Wave 3 become more widespread) but it's ONLY been the Protectobots & Hot Spot & Cyclonus(Smyths Toys) that have been advertised & seen coming out soon or spotted so far! nothing about when Magnus & Dev will be appearing on these shores have been mentioned yet(we can but hope it's soon though).
But if you've ordered him online, as well as Dev(dunno if he's on pre - order yet?) then you'll obviously get Magnus sooner.

and Had because it is now mine ALL MINE!!!!
I am a particular fan of his "Rescue Missiles".
I've also had a crazy idea for a Jurassic Park themed "Dinobot Hunter" Gestalt. You use Motor Master / Prime as the body, painted green to resemble the RV's from The Lost World. Off Road painted Grey / Red camo to look like the "Gas Powered Jeep" from Jurassic Park, First Aid (maybe) as the Tour SUV's from Jurassic Park (All Yellow and Green). Alpha Bravo Painted Blue as an Ingen copter. Haven't decided on the other limb yet though... I also haven't really messed around with Customs before so this will probably never see the light of day lol
(FYI all this s based off a conversation with a mate saying how Blades / Alpha Bravo would look cool in Blue and silver)

Thanks for all the advice regarding CW Ultra Magnus. I'm going to pick him up when I'm next paid on the 15th.

No joy with Air raid here either I'm afraid.

Got that one on my Watch list at the moment. Been after a CHUG Ratchet for a while. I may hold out to see if a CW one arrives first though.

I'm expecting/hoping that we'll get a CW ratchet seeing as Ironhide is being made from the Offroad base and where one comes, the other often follows.
Then again, I worry it'd end up feeling a bit too similar to First Aid...
