Anyway, I've given the guy your feedback. He says the prices were based on finished ebay sales, getaway was only one per case so will be a rarer figure, hence the higher price, and he has taken on board your feedback and thanks you for it. He's still fairly new in the selling business and appreciates it.

They have also just appeared on entertainers website at 13.99 each(all out of stock).
Enfield also had the Platinum Op Prime/Megatron 2 packs in for £100.
If you need any and are up central London Orbital have all 4 of wave 3 in as well as Sixshot, triple Changer Optimus Prime and Megatron and the latest wave of heads.
They did have Gnaw and kickbacks but should out before it got there.
I think they still have some Bumblebees left though.

There's also a new Entertainer opened up which had the usual Kids stuff and TR Wave 2 deluxes last week at least but it also had a bad smell in the shop at the time so I didn't lurk long.
Hope the plastic gods are good to you all at this present getting time of the year!

Also, for any GlasweG1ans who need an old school fix, the platinum insecticons set and the platinum set with Astro-train were both reduced to £20 from £60 and the Perceptor/Blaster Platinum set was down to £30 from £70, and they had lots of all three. They also have Fort Max for a ton and lots of them too. Picked up hot-Rod and Kickback with some Chrimbo money that came my way early, but have yet to free them from plastic prison.

I take it that the Platinum Ed sets & Fort Max were at A1 Toys & not Silverburn TRU?

Found this today
It apparantly wasn't in the penny line and Miss priced. They couldn't find the proper price so did it for the price of a single minicon and gave me a second for a penny.
Not gonna argue with the manager.
The entertainer also had Megatron and Prime triple changers in stock too.

You take it correctly Stuart, mainly cause S.Burn TRU closed about three months ago and has reverted to HMV who were originally in that store!

Also had a really cool experience when I learned that Nick Roche and James Roberts were doing a signing with Jack Lawrence to launch the new Lost Light comic at the Travelling Man comic store in Manchester. So I got them both to sign my hardback copy of Last Stand of the Wreckers (Nick even drew a little Impactor sketch for me!) and commissioned Nick to do me a bust drawing of Overlord which I picked up on the day. I'm working from a new laptop so I'll upload a photo as soon as I can. It's awesome though.
Hope you all have a great New Year!

It's safe to assume that I'm just taking the piss.

Oooh, nice one picking up swerve- I nabbed a Gears alongside a couple others off a mate recently and its a fun little mould
I've been slowly working on the MTMTeam myself- got my eye on the new(ish) voyager megs to add to the squad when I've the cash to spare.
Hope the new year treats everyone well after what was a globally miserable 2016- let's make this year a good 'un!

Voyagers are £15 as well, so I managed to get Hot Rod, Triggerhappy, Twinferno and Megatron for £56

First things first, hello.
As with a lot of people I've been a long time lurker, but have more questions than I can ever find answers for so thought I should register.
Thanks for the heads up on Megatron. Shame my local TRU never have anything good in stock so I'm always forced online to buy.
Do you think there is a chance Optimus will be put up before Megatron goes out of stock? I would hate to pay shipping twice if it does happen, but don't want to miss out on stock of Megatron.

Honestly, no clue. For what it's worth I don't think it's a matter of him being put up or not, I think it's just a matter of him being put up before but he sold out quickly because he's Optimus. Your best bet would probably be to find him irl I'm afraid.
Could be wrong though, don't know how they operate myself. I'm just reporting the sales :p

I did spot an Optimus in my local Bedford TRU last week, but I've not seen any at the other TRU. Smyths in MK was woeful, no Wave 3 deluxes or voyagers.
I really wish Hasbro would kill off the RID range, it just seems that TRU are massively stocking those at the expense of the Titans Return line. Deluxes for RID are 19.99!

Very few scan in the system though so they charge an arbitrary price.
Fun little toys, not for hardcore collectors but kids will like them
