I was very happy with my Devastator set. The box is so nice and shiny too. Though it was a bit of a cop out using two of each mold. Hightower has Mixmaster's bio. Whoever Hightower is he does not look like a chemical specialist. =o I feel they could have at least modded his arm to look like a nozzle of some kind rather than just making him another crane. He could have had his proper name back then. =(

I don't think it'd be too great a stretch, even for me, to get hold of a mixing barrel from a model that's in the same scale. It certainly would make all of the difference.

thats what i'm planning on doing, but i have a much more complex idea than attachin it as a huge f**k off weapon arm!

Well, as ITV had BW when it first aired, I saw some Armada on ITV when that was going, and last year ITV had Cybertron (did they show BM and Energon and RID? I dont know.) and ITV4 showed the original movie when the new one came out, I would hazard a guess and say ITV will have this one.

i thought Beast Wars was shown on 5, when it was still channel 5!

Yeah, I'd love to do better for him. But that would require me to rebuild him slightly so that the barrel is on his back. So that's a no-way for me.

All this talk of work makes me think I should crack on revising for January.................

Nah

I passed Biology doing nothing but watching Jurrasic Park about 5 times and playing Halo 2. But that's not the recomended revision plan...

Hah! That means you're deadpools. bitch :P

I'm finding Bio okay so far. Central concepts is an interesting module, and then I've got mammalian transport systems and anatomy for my final. Sweet.

I'm just resitting the first module- basic concepts- because I spend this time last year hanging from trees over pits and roads etc :P

I think there is a TF fan working in our local cake shop, half the window display was taken up with Transformer birthday cakes.
There were the standard cakes with movie Bumblebee & Megs prints, a pair of 'Bot & 'Con shaped cakes, but the two which really impressed me were the G1 Prime open book style cake with bot & alt mode pic plus a bio writen in icing, and one with a statue which on closer inspection turned out to be Revoltech Prime!!

No pics :-( did not have my mobile on me.

That has got to be the most awesome cake evar!!!!!!!!!!

Good news! My deal for Alt Jazz is finalised. For $55, I get a priority shipped, loose alt Jazz, with perfectly applied reprolabel stickers, weapon and instructions!

Two alternators to go! Just Prowl and Skids. I'll get Skids first, because I expect I'm gonna end up paying a hellalot for Prowl.

Then, I can get the non-essential alts like Smokescreen and Ricochet.

Hey major congrats man! Did you get it from someone on the site?

On the plus side, I'm 1144 words into my 3,000 essay. I'm on course for finishing this one tonight, head home for some quality time with the girlfriend (;)) and then do the other one tomorrow

How well, yet how badly, does that fit in here?

My answer- very badly.

Nicely done mate. No doubt you're on a roll with the writing.

Yeah, I'm getting it off of Cascadia. She's (?) being great about it. I will have to give her (?) excellent feedback.

I am sure I read in a thread that she (?) is a she, but I can't remember very well :P

It's been a good day for all I think.

Well almost 12 hours after meeting up with the very nice chap we know as waaaarghlord I've finally figured out how to transform Alt.Shockblast.
Now i just need to work out how to get him to hold his gun properly!

Anyway Shockwave is lovely and currently standing next to KO Classics Megatron and wondering how best to knife him in the back.

rebuild? now that is way too much work, i was planning on modding both arms into the mixing drum, which would then have some extras built in!

I've heard of this mythical game, but never seen any screenshots or seen it in shops. Is it the Transmetal game or the original, which I believe was more like a proper scripted game?

The original, terrible game really, yet I felt like playing it. The production team on it somehow managed to find the worst sound a likes to voice the characters as possible, they really are awful and don't get me started on the graphics! I don't know why, but I really want that Transmetal game, but have never actually seen it :-(
