Well in my absence it seems double congrats are in order

Frimal - good work on the Mosaic. I'm not a huge fan of the Beast era, so when I like something to do with it that means something. Good job.

Tangent - well done on becoming one of the student collective. It's very poetic - just as some of the ODB pass out of the student world some of us go into it. *sniff* It makes me so proud

Tangent wrote:Shhh! That's not the point! :P By the time I am back there they should be full of fun stuff!

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be stocking the ENTIRE Animated and Henkei ranges (:| :P

I guess we didn't really belong in the toy forum.

We don't get new tfs often enough to make the thread less than 50% 'off-topic' :P

At the risk of sounding stoopid... So where did all the posts go?

Once again the police are outside tonight... it's been like CSI Tottenham this week.

On topic, I too have resorted to buying Iron Man Figures as most of my TFs arrive by post these days.

I hardly go to the shops anymore... :?

Ryan had a brain fart, and wiped the database. So he loaded the last backup- which seems to have been made on Wednesday-Thursday.

Is that the voice of experience? Personally it just comes down to whichever's cheaper at the time acid or quicklime. I just keep practicing saying "it wasn't me guv honest.' Some day I'm going to live somewhere where I'm not lulled to sleep by sirens every night.

All I see in the shops is shelves of Dr Who figures, which wouldn't be too bad if they actually looked like any of the cast.

I will say it loudly! And proudly!

Christmas is EVIL!

Jesus may have died for our sins but I don't think he realized the full extent of the horror he was unleashing upon the world.

Commercialist nonsense, that's all Christmas is now. Give it back to the Christians to celebrate and let the rest of us save our money.

I've been in retail for nine years now and each passing year I see things like any religious meaning for Christmas eroded along with workers rights. I would like it if Christmas meant something (like an actual holiday) but it doesn't anymore. As for Summer I'm with Bill Hicks on that one.

Christmas may have lost almost all of its religious significance for most of the population, but I still like it because its an excuse to get my family together and have a good time.

I almost feel like I'm going off topic by saying I've got some TF news. My G1 Ultra Magnus came yesterday and he is awesome.

Negatives:
- Missile launchers don't work
- stickers are a bit tatty
- significant yellowing and dirt

Positives:
- I don't really care about missile launchers
- I can get reprolabels for him easily enough
- Dirt can be cleaned off easily enough
- He's complete, comes with all four fists, missiles and missile launchers, trailer hitch, chest armour and head
- Has rubber wheels and metallic facemask
- Looks awesome and is great fun to transform
- He's an original and I got him for £13.49 shipped

This guy kicks the stuffing out of my Titanium Ultra Magnus

Pot: Where did you pick up your Beatmix BB.

I got one a couple weeks ago for £8 (HMV). Deffinatly worth a tenner but I would not have been so happy with it if I got it for the original £40 price.

You forgot to mention War Within Skywarp, who will be my 20th Skywarp.

I might actually consider going to Comic-Con for this.

Maybe Sentinel Prime will be a tall Deluxe like Lockdown. Hopefully not a stubby out of scale POC like V.Bulkhead and Lugnut.

You make a good point. He may well be.

What cons are Prowl, BB and Grimlock gonna be at?

I am gonna need so much money now. SOOOOOO much.

Didn't you read the page? :P
WW Prowl and WW Grimlock as TRU exclusives (Sept 2008) - have no plans to release Cosmos, Arcee, WW Bumblebee/Cliffjumper or Shockwave. Too expensive to tool up for these molds and they're not profitable enough.
No sign of Mission Accomplished on torrent sites yet. It would seem nobody in Canada is a speed ripper, I will keep searching though.

It's not going to be that expensive. Keep in mind they only release a few at a time.

Oh! But then I forget, you're going to be poor students. :P
