TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED IN UK TRUs.

I just came into another £20 today, so wednesday I'll be picking up some deluxes as well as the battle begins 2-pack.

But I did get the knock off 6 inch G1 Skywarp for a fiver... even though I said I'd never buy it... Come on... it was a fiver... the set costs over £50+.

Ditto. Might be able to get 'em another time but to tell the truth I'm only really interested in Grimlock, Jazz and Ultra Magnus from Animated. I've had to prioritise because of Universe coming out too.

I'm quite proud of the screensaver - it made my housemate rather confused the first time he saw it.

My collection is in 3 places

- the pics you've seen are my uni house at Nottingham
- all of my Movie toys and a few others are at my woman's, also in Notts
- the rest, which is a mixed bunch of G1, reissues, classics and a few others, are at my parents' house in Warwick

They got split up due to a lack of space but in a few weeks, they'll all be back together!

I'll go Animated hunting either next weekend or the week after, depending on finances. I'll be looking to pick up all of wave 1 at once, maybe not 'Bee due to the Walmart set, so that's about £90 in one go. Ouch. MP Megs will have to go on the back burner for a few more weeks. Can ODBers based in Middlesborough, Leeds and York keep me posted on what's shown up in their local TRU please? Hate to make a wasted trip and I'm kind of in the middle of the three.

Preordered the Henkei Seekers at BBTS, price was a little less than I was expecting from them but not paying until September was the big draw due to my currently molested finances. I know I said I wasn't going to but they're Seekers and, well, they're Seekers. Hope they put up a preorder for the Clear Convoy soon. Looks like I can't get too spendhappy at AA this year, but the social side is the main draw anyway.

edit - Gaagh! Forgot about the Club exclusive preorders coming up. That'll set all other buying plans back by at least a week. Must avoid epay at all costs for a while.

Same here mate, after checking my account I have seen that my finances have taken a real nosedive and show no sign of pulling up. Further purchases are on hold until AA, and even then I might only be getting something small. At least we'll be able to have a few beers and drown our collective ODB sorrows

The main problem here is that we've had a year of movie junk everywhere and now all the good s#it seems to be landing at once. I might have to look at finding some temporary work between seasons at the nursery to help fund all this plastic crack I'm getting through.

I'm thinking of getting a Henkei 'Bee to get signed, on the toy rather than the packaging. If I decide to go ahead with that I'm going to have to grab one ahead of the con. I have a feeling that they'll be in a lot of demand on the day, and possibly marked up a tad more than usual.

If I manage to get the figure signed it will be for me rather than for the bay and I don't do MISP. Only packaging that I still have from any of my toys is from the Botcon and Club toys and one or two Japanese items such as the Mega SCFs and Wonderfest Dai Atlas, and in the case of the Japanese stuff that's only so I've got somewhere to store the alternate parts. Even with those I think I'll eventually get around to just putting the bits in baggies and getting rid of the boxes. Collecting packaging just holds no interest for me.

i'd just get 2 at the dealers room in the convention, one for signing, one for yourself

Technically if you got a bumblebee signed carded would the value go up or down?

Because 1st of all if its good condition people may think its gud as it it, but on the other hand its the voice of bumblebee on a bumblebee product?
