It was probably at £35 so they claim £17.49 as actually being half price (I believe shops are obliged to sell at full price for a certain period before they can advertise as half price)

I could have picked up Grimlock or Lugnut... but I don't really want them. I'm still waiting for an oversized KO Lugnut and I don't want to collect Autobots at this point. =(

Guys, I need some help (quiet Oddsey, this is serious! :lol:

)

I bought a Botcon Dirge from America, and apparently a delivery was attempted very early on Saturday morning. However, noone was up to sign for it, so I am currently Dirge-less. Does anyone know who is likely to have attempted the delivery, would it have been Royal Mail or would it have been another company like UPS? I ask this because there is no card through the door or anything, so I've got no idea who to ring up. The seller in America isn't likely to know, is he?

EDIT: Nevermind, I've discovered through the wonders of copy/paste that it should be coming through Parcelforce, and is currently being held at the York depot

It depends on the post method used. If it's cheap untracked post, it'll be from Royal Mail, if it's tracked or a large parcel then it's Parcelforce.

If you have a tracking number you should be able to use that to identify the company.

Thanks Tek, it was a trackable one so I tried tracking it on Royal Mail and they redirected me to Parcelforce, so problem partially solved - now to wait for them to try and deliver it again

You should call them rather than just wait. Parcelfarce sometimes doesn't redeliver for quite a while unless you contact them.

Also, I broke down and went back to Tesco and got Grimlock and Blackarachnia. =(

Not going to get Deluxenut as I really don't want him there being all puny next to Blitzwing, Starscream, and Skywarp.

thought id give everyone a heads up, might have been mentioned earlier but i cant be arsed going back all those posts to check,
but play.com seems to have a lot of cheaper than retail animated stuff, deluxes (in some cases) at 6.99 and voyagers ranging from 7.99 for bulkhead to 17.99

while i remember, oddsey can you PM those parts you where after, the message must have died when the site went nuts

Goddamnit, I just paid £13 posted for Blitzwing after thinking "Well, I'm not going to see that price beaten for a while." Ah well, I'll maybe go check tomorrow, see if they've got anything I don't. *sigh* At least I only paid £8 for Bulkhead.

Right, my spies are heading out to Tesco for me. Really hope to find Starscream. Wouldn't mind most of the newer Deluxes, apart from Slag. Because I have him already.
