I've been checking at least three branches on a weekly basis since November and never seen him.
Damn.
Thanks for the tips though.

Re: Official Disgruntled Brits: We Dont Need No Stinkin Hasbro
Hey guys, just wanted to update you all on what's going on with me and why I've not been around much lately. I'm back at work (yay! been a bit depressed the last 3 months...) and in the middle of packing before I move into the on site accomodation for the season. I will be moving again later in the year, which means the toys will be staying boxed up for the foreseeable and I'll not be adding much this year (due to space reasons and because I'm going to need set up cash for a place of my own). My best friend and I are somewhere in the process of becoming something more, and it's looking increasingly likely that the next move will be into a house with her. This fills me with joy and terror, more of the former and the latter only because this is one thing in my life that I really can't afford to **** up. She told me that she loves me last week, only been waiting a year to hear that. I'm certainly going to be MIA for a little while due to lack of a computer at the bungalow, but my brother's financing me a laptop and I'll be getting a dongle before too long, so I'm not leaving you all just taking a break and will certainly still be doing AA again this year (although with a far more modest budget). I'm also looking at going back to part time study either this year or next now that I'm happy with my career path, and am hoping that this will help in turning what's currently a 9 month a year job (which I love) into a more viable and long term commitment. It might not even be that much longer before I'm looking at a mortgage (oh, the horror!).
So things are busy (increadibly right now since there's still a lot of packing to do), but it's good busy and I'm happier than I've been in a long time. And you know what guys? Reprioratising the plastic crack habit feels like very much the 'right' thing for me right now. While I may still grab the odd figure over the next year or two I'm quite happy to let more of them slide and to let the cash draining exclusives pass me by. It's been a great 6 years of fairly intense collecting and it's just time for a break. I've got a pretty damned impressive collection, even by the standards of some of the nicer ones in the collection forum (still need to do proper photos for my own thread, maybe after the next move and the acquisition of some custom shelving) and it's not getting split up or sold off or anything. I might even be able to find some room in the short term to display a few key pieces, probably just keeping out the MPs and BTs, maybe a few main cast Classics. But even if I were to never buy myself another toy (yeah, right!) I'm happy with what I've acheived to date.
So, not sure when the home computer thing will be sorted but I can always drop in on work one now and again to check up on you guys from time to time. I may not be the most prolific poster but I've read every post in this thread (including a solid session of 4 months worth of posts after I had a bit of burn out from running around after all the movie noobs in 07), and was around in the days of the original ODB crew before the exodus to the TT. Even if I can't find time to follow your goings on for a while I'll try to get caught up once I'm back on a more regular basis.
I've made some good friends here. I've helped some of you out with toys and been helped out by some of you. I've always been treated fairly by every single member of this community within a community, I've hooked up with some of you at cons or elsewhere and you're all fantastic. Special shout outs to Siegfried and both the Phils, and if Big Grim or Grufflock are checking the ODB at the moment hope to see you both at AA again in the future, especially BG, who I know made a similar change in his priorities a couple of years back. Until next time, or until we're sinking some beers on the veranda at the Holiday Inn in Brum this summer:

Thanks for the support guys. Loving the new place. With the books back on the shelves and most of the toys packed away it's kind of... tidy. I've got the MPs and BinAlts out on the shorter wall mounted shelf, need to put the longer one up below it to get a few Classics out and will probably dig out Unicron and his Horsemen (Armada beasts) for the corner mounted one. Might try to find room for the RHs somewhere, but with 1000+ books and my modest collection of Doctor Who figures filling the freestanding shelf space I'm starting to worry about things getting too cluttered. It's been about 3 years since most of my books went into storage and I'm loving having them back at my finger tips.

Yea well, thing is a few or was it one? Of the original ODB where on staff, something happened and the they had a fallout with Ryan, got pissed and made their own site which they called The Tavern Table or TTT for short, most of the original ODB left seibs doe to the fallout and something else a few of them also got banned so they are now all on TTT, exept for waaaaghlord.
I don't know all the details and whys and everything, all I know that I must have been around but missed it all.

Humor me for a little bit by letting this change do what it needs to do. It's just the title of this topic that was changed. It's not the end of the world - I promise! You guys can still be "disgruntled brits".
I made this change so that it would be easier to find this topic via the search engines. Once it works, minor changes like this will help bring about more people finding this topic, hopefully posting as well, which in turn will help all of you find more of the figures that you are looking for.
I made this same change to all of the topics in the Sightings forum. It is definitely for the better as far as the purpose of the Sightings forum. If it doesn't work in a few months, then we'll consider other options.

I don't know all the details and whys and everything, all I know that I must have been around but missed it all.
thanks dm thats quite interesting, i reckon this is the quietest ODB has been, we've lost quite a few characters here,
Yea and I'm afraid that now the thread is no longer ODB the we'll loose even more.
May I add (ODB) to the end of the topic title?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
