The 'name of that figure issue' has gone way too far. You can't use a perfectly legitimate word because some fools used it as an insult many years ago? Eliminate it from the language!

It's Orwellian. You can rile a troublemaker just by saying hello 'cause they'll always be looking for something to snap at. That word probably hasn't been used as an insult on any detectable scale for at least fifteen years yet the whining righteous will ensure that kids who never otherwise would have; WILL hear it and wonder what it means. Show me the parent who responds; 'Oh, that's what you should call Gimpy Jim who goes to your school' and I'll call Social Services myself. The result is: a dormant insult may come back and we aren't getting a figure I'd love to have.

Ineloquent rant largely over and I love you all like my own reflection.

Quick question: How long is it between a toy's US release and a UK/EU release? Straxus and Megatron have only recently flooded the shelves here, while the US already has the latest HFTD.

that's incredibly hard to say as we don't ever get some US releases. you just need to look around for stuff, down my way we've got the latest deluxe htfd wave: axor and rescue ratchet.
concerning generations we may never receive any past wave 2 if rumours are true... i really hope theyre not.

It makes me sad to see all the news of the reveal the shield and new generations figs being sighted when I know we won't see them over here for a while yet.

Sorry folks but this seems to confirm Hasbro Uk cannot be arsed with Generations past wave 2. I've just re-ordered Soundwave via Yahobby (£20.00) and cliffjumper's already pre-ordered via Kapow Toys.

It sounds like they are clearing the way for Reveal The Shield and hopefully what seen of that range should be released before TF3 hits otherwise we could be buggered there as well.

Star Action Figures wrote:Nov 26
Hi
We email with regret, that the Transformers Deluxe Generation figures have been cancelled in the UK by Hasbro, therefore we are unable to fulfill your order for the Wave 3 (Soundwave and Red Alert) figures. Although this has not been 100% confirmed by Hasbro... and probably never will be, it appears they are cancelling the Generations line, and will rebrand it next year under another title.
With Christmas approaching the timing of this beggars belief, and even by Hasbro's standards seems quite amazing! Unfortunately as it has dragged on for so long, it has not been possible to source stock from overseas, so its with regret that I will have to cancel the orders for Soundwave and Red Alert. If you have already paid for the figures with PayPal, a refund will be passed back to your PayPal account in the next few days. I will send out any other items from orders that contained different items today and over the weekend.
I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, and will consider in future sourcing all Transformers stock overseas in future, as Hasbro does seem to operate well in other regions, its just appears to be issues with Hasbro UK!
Kind regards

Wayne
