Dear Hasbro,
In light of the recent revelation of the Transformers Movie Trilogy Line, starting in 2012, and the preliminary pictures we have already seen, I wish to ask, on behalf of myself and fellow fans, whether this new line will include any new molds, or will it be only repaints and retools of existing figures. I also would like to know whether the upcoming dark of the moon deluxe wheeljack and soundwave figures are the last in the line, or whether we can expect any more figures (eg mirage)
Thanks for your time,
J. Smith

Are we just all waiting for new shipments to come in?
(I'm getting Megatron Origins and Generations Blurr shortly, it should keep me going for a bit.)
(I'm still completely in love with Grimlock.)
Would you go for HA or Deluxe Soundwave?
I have scale issues with HA, as I only own a Jazz.
But I'm really not sure about the Deluxe, from the photos at least.
I might cave in and branch out into the Prime line, once it gets released over here.

Heavylabor Notice - the hip joints are very delicate on the figure and excessive or heavy movement will cause the cog to wear very quickly, please be careful with them as this is not covered under the returns policy and any replacement parts will need to be sourced directly from TFC themselves. If you have any questions or queries please contact us at contact@kapowtoys.co.uk

I was actually really intrigued by the Tank add-on for G2 Optimus (of which I have the United version, waiting for me in Italy). But they're all a pass. Sorry fans.
I'm actually feeling at peace with my addiction, at the moment.
Megatron Origins tomorrow, maybe?

One of the better PCC offerings. I've considered picking up extras to repaint as Armada Seekers.

Hmm. It's not just "excessive and heavy movement", it seems that any movement will do the trick.
I've been following the massive thread over on the TFW2005 boards, and the problem seems to be thus:
* The problem is the ratchet joint when you try to move the legs forwards or backwards at the upper thigh.
* This joint is for poseability and articulation only; you don't need to move this joint at any point in the transformation process.
* The problem has arisen because a rectanguar tab inside the joint (which creates the friction for the ratchet) is cast in a very solid plastic that has no leeway or 'bounce'. So rather than defecting when the leg joint is moved, it instead grinds away at the cog-teeth in the ratchet joint, which will inevitably lead to floppy legs.
* There are two best courses of action open to any purchasers of this toy:
1) Just don't move the figure at this joint - this will prevent any gear stripping, and then you can get the replacement parts from TFC when they become available (in mid December). As I said before, you can still play with the figure and transform it - just dont move those hip joints back and forth.
2) If you can't wait until mid December to pose this guy, there is an effective mod you can do. Unscrew the hip assembly of the figure, and using a craft knife cut a section out of the rectangular tab that's causing the damage. This solution has been known to work (tested on the tfw2005 boards), and works as a great stopgap until the replacement parts are shipped.
* I would very much advise you to heed these words - some owners of the toy reported gear-grinding as soon as they attempted to move the joint; others reported the problem only after having him in hand a week or so. The issue first manifests as a so-called 'squeak of doom' when you move these joints. This problem will occur, so it's best you know this before you take the toy out of the box!

Bad quality, small, and nothing special. But it made me feel good.
Anyone into their PCC sets, TRU are doing some interesting half-prices.
And still have the multi-buy offer going on too!

ust to add/contribute to this discussion, surely would it be possible to pose the figure, deal with floppy legs after a while, and THEN get the replacement parts from TFC, meaning you don't have to mod and also can pose him?(at least for a bit)
