Picked up Tomahawk in Fenwicks. US card, as usual for the later HftD deluxes that have been showing up. Worked out a mistransformation with the blades pointing up in robot mode that would work for a Blades or Spinister custom. Also grabbed a RtS 'bee for the upcoming Hubcap head.

Hiya!!

Wheres Fenwicks? But most importantly, whats Fenwicks? I dont think Ive seen a Tomahawk figure anywhere, but thats probably because I wasnt really looking before I joined here :). I know more shops have old stock in their warehouses somewhere, please find it :)! Are you thinking of doing a custom with it then? I actually need a spinister.

As for RTS Bumble Bee, dont have one of those either, but whats this Hubcap head you speak of?

As for sightings, there are still some old stock (HFTD and RTS) stuff in Forbidden Planet (well in the Leeds one, havent been to my local one in Bristol yet). Only downer is the prices :(. Some of them are ridiculous. I do love that shop though.

And this morning picked up a unopened boxed transformer looking thing unknown to me at the bootsale, and by looking online have found it to be a Beast Wars II - Dirgegun! Never heard of it!! (here it is for those who dont know it http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/toys/beast-wars-2/dirgegun/752/1/0/). Should have looked to see if the guy had more, but I had much more sale to get round (get panicked Im missing out when there is so much, lol. Probably missed out by doing that!). I quite like it actually! I learn something new every week! Dont know if its a good find or not, I think it is :).

Anywho, hope all is well!!!

PS: Yes, polystyrene does make an awful sound when you take things out of it! ;)

I'm trying really hard not to get a Voyager Prime Prime from Kapow. I know the prices will be lower once released..

Only recovered today from the two-day comic convention/festival in Leeds. Guests were aplenty, but mostly Tim Sale, Dave Gibbons, Sean Phillips, Charlie Adlard, Gail Simone.

I love that place. So much money though.. :(
(Being part of the staff is great though, lots of non-queueing, just wait till closing time. :P)

Got a nice print of Grimlock, by the colourist John-Paul Bove (artwork by Casey W. Coller), including a chat as I closed off the queue for Tim Sale.
(Actually only just realised who this guy is!)

Magnus arrived Monday, cheers mate! I was allowed to unpack him for a quick look and he's great, I know he's a clumsy old brick but he just works for me somehow.

2 day comic convention/festival in Leeds!!! Damn! Would have made the journey back up to my second home for that (second home being just a figure of speech, I dont actaully have 2 houses, not even 1 actaully =D). Sounds like you had a great time Vaal :)! And met some amazing people, you are lucky. If you ever happen to go there again, and its amazing, then you should go to the chocolate shop called Bon Bons! Nicest chocs ive eaten......EVER!!!! I digress..........

Thanks for the heads up on the sale at Argos waaaaagh but dont think I should be getting any more TFs. I need my money for christmas presents (though may get just a small one for myself). Its always good to know the opportunity is there :).

I need some bits for my Energon Tical Wave, he has stumpy arms! Poor guy! Which Magnus was it that you got O? and whats that, you were allowed to unpack him!!? :). LOL.

Wasp - awesome review from the collab. Was very fun! Shame its a pain to transform back to car mode. Make some moar!! Didnt know who the other guy was, but he has some good vids to, plus a lovely top hat and goggles :). Dapper!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

WL hooked me up with Energon Magnus, the Overload repaint. I don't know why but I love it. Yes, I was allowed  . Mrs O said I couldn't have it 'til Christmas but I hid it and she fell asleep in front of the telly, now she's either forgotten about it or given up 8) .

Megatron Origins arrived.
Love the artwork, I agree with Waspshot.
The story is also good, but the actusl sequence of it is.. confusing, to say the least.

And too much emphasis on GLOWING ELECTRIC-BOLT EYES.
Way too much.

Have you guys seen the new DOTM Soundwave pictures?

Yay, Megatron Origins! Not Glowing Elevtric-Bolt Eyes!!!! Dun dun daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :). To many close ups? :). I still havent looked at it yet, on the to do/read list.

As for the Soundwave, I think I commented before that I dont really like it to much. To me, its just not soundwave, not at all. Would be ok if it was some other transformer perhaps, but I wouldnt ever look at him being soundwave.

Ah Mr. O, I know the one. I have Overload in both the red and yellow paints. Im sure ill get the Magnus aswell, just to go with the 'set' :). Also, youre not supposed to know what youre getting for christmas, doesnt that spoil the surprise?! She should already have given up as you know!

Twas waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh who said about the Argos sale!

OMG!!! Just looked at this (linked incase it goes off): http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/mastermind-creations-cyclops-shockwave-prototype-preview-video/23271/. And I want sooo soo much!!! Looks like its going to be an amazing figure. I love the Hearts of Steel!!! Have been looking at getting one of the steam train optmius primes for ages, just expensive :(. Think that Shockwave is gonna be £££££££! If anyone has the comics and doesnt want them anymore, hit me up.

Updating the collection thread, but not with images.
Have to work this evening, but been shut indoors all day, sorted out The Shelf.

Trying to decide what to carry down to Italy over Christmas, and what to leave up here.

Anyone interested in a Crankcase with Destrons?
Or a Sledge with Throttler?

Managed NOT to buy any Prime figures, or anything else, for at least a month now.
Was really tempted on Battle Tanker, too.
But I'm being good for Christmas. :P
(Can't wait to get back to sort out the cabinet with Constructicons and Drift vs Banzai-Tron vs G2 Optimus and however many other sword-wielding characters I have!)

Not looked at the rotf Mindwipe before! I actaully really like the look of him :). He does look black in the pictures I looked at, and from afar. I dont think it matters that its that kind of black/green tint, like an olive kind of, I know what Im on about :).

Vaal, looking forward to the updated photos, but you have given a whole months notice :)! Ill keep a space free! And its lucky the internet exists in many places. And I take it you like swords?! (I have both the TFs you are trying to bail on).

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Nice review again wasp, you do make my chuckle! And thanks for the mention in it!!!! You just made my day :)! Now I have to go watch them all to get rid of the songs in my head. (Its definately all about the Ragu in Aisle 2!). Also, just clicked to look at your photos and saw the Home Bargains meme :)! That place is awesome. There aint any round where I live either I dont think. On their website though they have 1 transformer figure, ROTF Deluxe Bumble Bee for 5.99. http://www.homebargains.co.uk/products/575-transformers-bumblebee-deluxe-class-figure.aspx Odd no??

I just noticed, after acquiring Drift (in Italy), that I also had Banzai-Tron (in the UK) and they would work well together. Then along came United Optimus. So threeeee!

It was supposed to be a miscellanous shelf, but those three will be in for sure.

Just acquired a copy (on teh webz) of War Within Omnibus, for about a tenner.
Nice.

And I suddenly realised that when Blurr arrives, I will have a sniper rifle.
So I HAD to buy Perceptor. He's also on his way. Yup.

Hey you guys, anyone interested in buying my Revoltech movie Optimus? I've only opened him once and never really played with him so he's just in his box in my draw now, I was thinking about £35 if anyone is interested?

I don't know how to break it to you but I have both Blurr and Perceptor, and Perceptor has a lot of trouble holding blurr's gun.

My order from Kapow is taking ages to get here. Any longer and I may have to contact them to see if it's even been shipped yet.
