Broadstairs Tesco has full compliment of Beast Hunters wave 1. Lazerbacks for all!
Chatham TRU has deluxe wave 2 beast hunters, I snagged a Smokescreen.
They have MP Primes, like all TRU it seems and some oddly packaged DOTM Bumblebees... Not the first I've seen...
Canterbuty Home Bargains has PRID voyagers at £11.99 and deluxes (US card with DVD) for £5.99 and bot shots for 2 quid too

Only one I've got is the original greenish voyager. Does the job and I scored it clearanced for a fiver way back when. Probably as screen accurate as you'll get with a transforming version and should be the most readily available. Same version is in the TRU 3 pack with blue Soundwave and almost premium movie 1 Megs if those interest you. As with all main line movie stuff don't over pay, there's plenty out there.

I can certainly say that for a legends class, the legends class is quite nice. Does what you expect of a legends and looks the part. (in fact you coould almost argue it has a better looking vehicle mode than the voyager toy....)
The voyager class I had briefly before Nova collected it from me, and though I don't think I transformed it it was certainly quite fun. It was the blue version (which seemed a bit out of place at first but got used to it quickly)-the main benefits being that it came with a massive weapon-y-thing, and a face that can fall off.
If you can find the voyager cheap, I'd go for it. The legends much the same-tho it kinda depends what you want it for, as to which would suit you best.

Huh, there seems to be very little for quite a lot of money out there.
Waaaaghlord, any recommendations as to where I could find some cheap ones?

ArmadaPrime, the Legends one looks fun, but I'm not going to go for him. I mainly want to do some silly photocomic stuff with the two of them (Paladin/Chaos and The Fallen), and wanted something roughly around the same size. The HftD blue one looks fun though, and Dead Metal has also recommended it.

Nova raises a fair point-I'm sure you could make use of a falling-off-face if you're doing daft photocomic things :p

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Transformers- ... 3382f41286 Just listed, 99p start. Just looking through the first couple of pages there's a few loose ones that should go for not much over a tenner, folks wanting twenty upwards are having a laugh. Bastard figure to search for since 'Transformers Fallen' brings up a whole toy line. If you can hold on a couple of months there should be loads of loose movie stuff at AA, I'd expect to see a loose one there tagged for 12-15, haggle down to 10-12.

oh, man. I really want to BUILD GIANT ROBOT, especially in that colour scheme with those extra weapons.

Beast Hunters has hit my TRU. No Skyquake in the PRID Voyagers, sadly. Only one PRID Magnus and I wasn't bothered about him, but loads of Dreadwings and the other 4. Seemed like all of the first two waves of BH deluxes, as well as the Voyager Prime and Predaking, and Prime, Bulkhead and Predaking Commanders and some Legion cyberverse as well. Only SinnerTwinStrike of the Terrorpreds though.

Reigned myself in from my initial "ooh new shinies!" reaction, and only got TMNT Bulkhead and Ripclaw. Bulkhead is a bit of a floppy mess, but he looks pretty cool in both modes, and his spinny weapon gimmick works tons better than Ratchet's. I think it was the main forum's Megatron Sharkticon thread where someone suggested this as a good repaint for a G1 Sharkticon styled bot, and I agree, it'd be great as one.

Ripclaw is pretty awesome. IN SOME WAYS. The colours are gorgeous, the tail thing is a little nicer than I'd thought, the claw gimmick is fun, the bot mode is pretty cool and the transformation is decent. Shame about that rubbery beast head. Gonna disintegrate at some point I bet, and even without that happening, it still looks and feels wrong when the rest is so nice. Oh, and there are some definite stability issues with robot mode. She doesn't like standing, both from being a bit back/tail heavy and from having weird knees and sorta loose thighs.

Guessing these guys are a later run than the US packaged ones and seem to be showing the wear.

I've had a strange urge to pull my movie toys out of storage over the last few days despite having no shelf space for them. There truly have been some bloody turkeys across those lines. If I thought they were actually worth anything I might be tempted to just get rid altogether, but since my policy with movie stuff has always been 'only on the cheap' and I've mostly avoided repaints I don't feel too guilty about them.

I usually get the opposite, and feel the need to chuck everything away and hide it.
Then I remember they might break, and that I do like this hobby, and that I can make them do silly poses. That usually calms me down.

Who else on here is going to AA, by the way?

Reluctantly giving it a miss this year. I'm on holiday with Gen in a couple of weeks, got my utilities due about the same time AA's on and I usually split a room with Siegfried who I believe can't make it this year.

Received my BH Voyager Optimus Prime yesterday and Ripclaw was my Fathers Day gift today. I have to admit, I really like them both, Prime in particular looks....robust!

I will be attending AA for the first time this year Va'al. Can't wait! Is there usually any kind of get together for those of us on the boards?

I believe so, but I have no idea honestly! It's my first time too. :D

Though I am supposed to be volunteering all weekend, so I may be running in a frenzy most of the time. You arriving on the Saturday or Friday?

My plan so far, as I couldn't get a t-shirt off Ryan, is to shout SEIBERTRON at regular intervals, and see what happens. Apart from being diagnosed with Tourette's. Image

For a time I considered going to AA this year, as I've never been, but right now it would be the most economically unsound decision I could possibly make. I'd need at least £200 in my pocket to feel happy going round the stalls...
I need a job.
And ideally a friend to go with.
But he also needs a job.

I'd quite like to go to AA sometime. Maybe. travel, hotel and then the ridiculous amounts i'd probably spend put me off though. mostly the money, and the potential for some of the people. i speaking to a lot of people on the internet about TFs. but there are some i feel might be best avoided. i don't want some dude throwing a Hitler In Downfall fit because i might mention that i quite like Jack, Miko and Raf, or something like that.

Actually when I do make it these days it's more for the social experience than it is for the toys. Even shopping for the best deals what you run up in costs before shopping means you'd save money just ebay buying instead. I've organised the Seibertron meet up a couple of times in the past and I'd recommend folks exchange mobile numbers ahead of time and aim to get together for a meet and greet in the bar early on n the weekend, that way you'll find yourselves bumping into each other anyway as the con progresses.
