I was in The Entertainer in the Bullring, Birmingham just the other day and a couple of Helidrifts were there, possibly along with a Slog? Didn't realise it was newsworthy else I'd have paid more attention to the price and quantities such and maybe grabbed a picture!

They also had a few Cyclonuses, and about a million of the Legends class Cliffjumpers and Nemesis Primes. Sadly none of the Generations Voyagers that've been cropping up.

It is indeed a good figure, so much so I sourced one from these very pages so I could make a decent sized Voyager scale Rotorstorm for my Wreckers line up!

i may pick him up........(HeliDrift)......the next time i'm near an Entertainer!(if that particular store has him in at the time....obviously) which hopefully will be later in the week

oh....i'll also check TRU for CW Ultra Magnus(highly doubt the one i usually frequent will have him in just yet! but y'never know) & B&M for Brainstorm(again! highly doubt they'll have it just yet)

WOW! what a day i've had, beginning to think that christmas has come early for me.....anyway onto what i spotted today

at TRU, Govan, Glasgow, they have CW Ultra Magnus in(yessss.....finally! & obviously he came home with me), they also have those Legion RID Bee vs Underbite & Prime(white) vs Megatronus(aka Clash Of The Transformers), also that Chomp & Stomp RID Grimlock! + checked the B&M nearby for Brainstorm...nothing! so in the centre of Glasgow i was walking past TJ Hughes & just happen to spot some Thrilling 30's in the window, so went in, got to their toy section & voila! there he was sitting there with a bunch of other Thrilling 30 figures..........Brainstorm! & in plentiful supply! so if you fail to spot him at B&M then check your nearest TJ Hughes, coz guaranteed he'll be there

The Entertainer Website has The newer AOE One step changers for £5.00 as well as some of the cooler older ones. including : Slug, Megatron, Prowl, Rollbar, Steeljaw, Helicopter Drift, Strafe, Galvatron and so on.

They also have the FOC (chromed) Voyager Grimlock & silver (deluxe) Optimus set for £17.49

Don't suppose any of you chaps happen to know what price generations leaders are ringing through at at b&m? After having very little of note for a while, Birmingham's b&m suddenly had some jetfires in, with no price tag for them on the shelf...
I'd forgotten my wallet anyway :lol:

but if it's a nice price then I may nip down again tomorrow and grab one!

Also, FP Birmingham had the usual CW stock, one each of the seekers and Insecticons reissues, and now suddenly a few gen blasters and skybites (full price of course)

Jetfire is just shy of thirty quid, £29.99 (not sure on the .99 actually, might be less but it's not over thirty)

Stockton b&m was fully stocked of the gen voyagers only one I think may if been missing was sandstorm.

So does anyone know if there has been problems with the UK prints of the idw transformers comics? Apparently my local comic book shop have been unable to get them in since June time...

Thanks- I'll have to see what my finances are like before I decide whether or not to bite but I must say I rather like the look of it in person!

And I'm not aware of any issues- I was in a local comic shop recently and spotted the recent issue of MTMTE with the Scavengers. Then again, I believe that shop is an "associate store" or something of FP International, so it may be that they get their stock differently...

I'll believe it when I see it. My toysrus are still trying to shift wave one, the same with the entertainer.

On to other matters: I have a large collection of transformers UK comics and annuals (with a few more associated tf books thrown in) going if anyone is interested in them. Price is negotiable (I have no idea the going rate but I'm flexible and realistic) if anyone is interested I'll post pictures up of the haul.

I've only put this up here as I've no idea about airmail.

One of my local B&M stores (Whitehaven, Cumbria) has started stocking Generations Brainstorm, so now I've seen every Generations Thrilling 30 Voyager except Double-Dealer in there. However, I think the Brainstorms they have might be the ones with the faulty Headmaster gimmick, because I once read on TFWiki that the version with the fixed gimmick have a clear rubber band holding the head in place in the packaging, which these Brainstorms don't. I already have a Brainstorm so I won't be picking one up from B&M, but I can just imagine the disappointment of some kid getting Brainstorm and the Headmaster neck joint snapping straight away....

Speaking of B&M, they also have a Generations Leader Jetfire for £29.99, and it's very tempting.

Did a bit of a scout around he local are on the weekend.

Nothing new to report though from 2 Toys R Us (Chatham and Thurrock), a Smyths and A B an M.

Chatham had the Platinum series stuff, including Trypticon. Armada Megatron but no Ultra Magnus.A few Generations Voyagers I think.

Thurrock had zero Platinum sets but more Generations voyagers - Loads of CW Armada Megs but no G1 or Magnus.

Smyths had the usual with a small smattering of Roadbuster.

B and M had a few Voayagers (Skybyte, Roadbuster, Rhinox and Whirl) as well as a few Jetfires.

I bought nothing!

In other new, my Amazon.com order arrived with Armada Megs, Leader Thundercracker and Black Jack. My Menasor is now complete - barring swapping out for a fixed motor master at some point. Thundercracker is really nice. I love how different it feels from Jetfire. Need Skywarp and Starscream now lol. I also really like Armada Megs. I feel he actually suits the mould better than G1. I mean I like that figure a lot but after having him a few months I'm really starting to get bugged by some of the flaws.. I mean he is just so.... straight! And midriff shoulders are weird and the gun is not quite on hi forearm in a way I would like, and his legs are just... really really straight!

Wouldn't surprise me if the brainstorms are the unfixed ones. The one in mine was unfixed (no band in the package). Release the catch, roll the head forward and it eases out with no hassle.

Not had any issues with comics either. I have a subscription with a small indepandant shop. I don't know if that makes a difference.
