Finally I picked this kit up. Had my eye on it for years and I just noticed it pop back on BBTS and couldn't resist. Now to wait for the base figure to arrive!

Anyone have experience with this kit?

Not sure if this is officially an MFT product as the box does have the logo, but picked it up locally for under USD 15 converted. It's like the reissue, missing the Diaclone parts.

Found another one. I've been told these are indeed legitimate MechFansToys products being sold exclusively via Malaysian retailer Mr. DIY, whose franchise recently expanded into our country, and only includes their 3P TF's(No Diaclone). Interestingly they are very inexpensive compared to their regular releases (I paid the equivalent of just under 5 USD for this version of Ultr Magenus/Mechanical Commando, while the first release Ultr Magenus cost me the equivalent of just over 15 USD)

After wanting the Planet X Dinobots for years, I have finally pulled the trigger on them. Swoop and Slag arrived today from BBTS. So far I have opened Swoop and I am very happy with it. I've got Grimlock on the way and Snarl on pre-order. If anyone has a Planet X Sludge (Neptune) that they wouldn't mind parting with, I would gladly take it off your hands.

That is my hope, but I feel like they might skip him since he was just a corpse in the game. I might also get paddles since he looks pretty cool.
I did open up Slag and wow he is just incredible. Such a great transformation and the articulation is amazing. I know comparing 3rd party to official typically is unfair, but imo the Planet X guys blow to SS86 ones out of the water. The only thing the SS866 has over them is height.

I got rid of some useless stuff at my local geek store and I go the rare 2010 Toronto TF-Con exclusive TRNS-EX1 Night-Bird.

For the price, she's currently complete garbage. She feel like a cheap dollar store model kit where everything fall appart at the slightest touch. She cannot hold her blades and she can barely stand up. A shame because the overall design and transformation are damn neat.

At least she complete a trio nicely.

Managed to get something pretty neat recently- XTB toy version Wildrider!



He's REALLY nice. Was worried he might be a fiddly mess given how XTB stuff can be but he's solid as a rock and not much more complex than a Hasui carbot. I probably won't buy any of the others (aside from possibly Motormaster) but I'm glad I have him.

Got this train combiner at Dollarama and holy slag this thing is actually pretty good quality for a discount store transformer! Articulation is g1 style, but all the connections are solid! There's some looseness in the red train's arm mode and the leg on the individual bots don't tab together super well, but it's not bad! If you see these in a discount store/dollar store and you're into the g1 style, pick them up!

I picked these guys up at Dollarama today. I'd seen them there forever and decided to scoop them up. Interesting re-use of the Build Team's Hightower design. I love that two of them are the Heavyload heads. Makes me think it's one guy and a pair of twins that combine.

No names on them other than "Robots" and the individual names of "Defender Truck" "Missile Truck" and "Transport Truck", so I just called the tube-missile truck thing Long-Range, the double barreled cannon guy High-Pen, and the missile truck Firestorm. He hates the twins because they don't shut the hell up, but they're the only ones he can combine with, and a good crack across their faces shuts them up for a while. I don't know why my brain already made characters for them, but they're clearly Decepticons.

Probably naming the combined form Artillorist or something. Like "artillerist" but spelled wrong.

NBK K-SR02 finally arrived, 2nd time around purchase, after 1 failed shipping fiasco with a first purchase. Unbelievable awesome toy. Size of bot and alt mode alone are worth the price. Really nice sculpting and paint apps and molding was solid; even after getting bounced around in shipment.
