I almost bought some matcha Kit Kats at an asian supermarket we support. The ragrets, I has them.
Sounds up my ally. I drink my coffee black and I prefer very dark high cocoa % chocolate. Well one of these days... thanks for the infoVa'al wrote:Matcha is a type of green tea, very bitter but also really quite smooth.carytheone wrote:I've never had matcha, what's it taste like? Tea?

Matcha chocolate is very tasty, but do be aware of the slight bitterness - it works great in icecream and cakes because of the sweetness of everything else to contrast it.

Well look at you and your new Transformers. I probably missed the explanation on the photo dump or instastalk. Self purchase or gift? Are they awesome? Those are some of the few PotP figures I want.Va'al wrote:

I love updating the old favorites, Va'al.
The essentials for me (well, all the ones I've bought, but if I were to narrow it down to the "Triumvirate" of TFs...) were:
1. Soundwave (you never forget your first)
2. Megatron (you never forget the Decepticon Leader your friend snapped in half the first day home)
3. Optimus Prime (since I lean towards animation-accuracy, it took awhile before I finally got MPP10)
Kinda boring, but they were my favorite 3 of the G1 cartoon....I was always Soundwave.

Are you talking about G2 Laser Optimus? My younger brother got him long after I had stopped collecting, but he was our go-to Optimus -- he looked so good, and was durable! He was a wonderful upgrade to the robofather figure I admired.
There's definitely value in the whole "less is more" -- instead of throwing in another/new bot, you had imagination to inspire new scenes and situations. Nowadays, I have too many, so we may have to do some Spring Cleaning...
bodrock wrote:Ah yes, the original G2! I love the pics with him and Primal.
I'm a new fan to BW, and I was going to pick-up the upcoming PotP figure and a CHUG version of his first form like you have there -- but found a used MP32 for cheaper (especially since I'm keeping my Optimal!).
That should bring my recent Beast Hunt to a close....but vintage toy shopping can be so fun. Especially when the latest lines aren't regularly available.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
