On top of that, i chose the gold version cause it was cheaper than Takara's version. In anycase, Vector Prime still rocks...and thanks for the unintentional spoiler. (still got like 30eps to catch)
Thanks Vector Prime. ( Dimensional warper )

However, anyone as enthusiatic about this figure as Skywarp-2 should get their hands on the Takara version it is far superior to the Hasbro version, no bendy sword and wings better paint apps. If you love the character so much anon the basis of the Cybertron toy and series you are doing yourself a massive diservice, download the GF subs and get the GF version, honestly you'll thank me.

Does the Botcon Alpha Trion use the Takara Molds, no bendy swords and wing issues, or did they use the Hasbro Version as the base for the new figure????

The mold on both figures, Hasbro and Takara is the same.
The plastic is softer on the Hasbro version.
Alpha Trion uses the softer plastic, though it's not anywhere as bad as the original US release of VP.
rob_charb wrote:This is probably going to get me murderized in this thread, but I wasn't too impressed with Vector Prime. In fact, he's one of the few TFs I really regret purchasing. Too simplistic transformation and just seems lacking to me. Maybe it's cause I got the Hasbro version and the swords and wings bend at the slightest hint of a breeze, but I'm really not that impressed with him.
rob_charb wrote:Perhaps if I gave him a wash, brought out some more detailing, I'd like him more. I guess I just prefer more complex transformations in my TFs.
Although, now that I'm thinking of him as a knight, he is a fair bit more intriguing...
megatroptimus wrote:LOL! Vector Prime is such a piece of crap. Super lame alternate mode, retarded (and almost non-existing) transformation, annoying sounds, fugly deco (all 3 versions), bendy wings & bendy sword on the NA version. Easily the worst Transformer from the Unicron trilogy.
