Wow...if his life was so good, why would he kill himself...? Sucks anyway, never saw Kung Fu, but he was good in Kill Bill 2.

Should go watch Death Race 2000. He was in that with Sylvester Stallone. Its the movie Death Race that was released the past couple of years was based from.

Learned of this minutes ago on Yahoo's main page--my jaw dropped. I saw some Kung Fu episodes; never really got into the show.

He also narrated a documentary show I saw on History (Channel) having to do with technology in the old West which was really good.

I heard on one of the major cable news networks (CNN? FOX? I'm a channel-flippin' demon!) that they cannot at this point rule out, ahem and please don't kill me for this, I'm just repeating what I heard from an allegedly credible source), autoerotic asphyxiation, and that he may have died of a heart attack. I seriously hope it's untrue and attention-grubbing.

Still, suicide or botched kinkiness? Hard to tell which one is preferable.

HK, who prefers to remember David Carradine as cool.

Well, it was in Thailand, and who said there wasn't someone else (Thai hooker) in the room? Hey, if an old guy died on me while tying him up for money, I'd probably run, too.

Well, I'm not going to dwell on this too much....I'm with hellkitty, I really hope he didn't die because of something that embarrassing (not saying kinks are embarrassing, just saying that wouldn't be the best thing to be remembered by :-\). And Rodimus, you bring up a good point on that hooker theory. Now if they would just take the time to get any foreign DNA off of him to verify that...

(Damn hellkitty, I was about to say something along the same lines as your last line, but you beat me to it -.-'...Oh well, I'll still say that I for one am going to remember David Carradine as he lived, not as he supposedly died in one way or another)

Before, i was kinda half joking about the hooker (who really knows, tho) but he was a good actor. I saw a few small roles of his, though i never saw Kung Fu (did I say that already?) He did awesome in Kill Bill, but tarantino ruined the ending, because I was expecting a badass showdown between Bill and the Bride, and all I got was chest poking...

I'm with you, he was a great actor! I hadn't seen the original Kung Fu, but I did end up seeing him in quite a few episodes of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. He was funny in that too! XD But that Kill Bill ending was just...bleh! :-x

But then again, if those two really ended up in a real fight in the film, he would've ended up killing her, and Hollywood just couldn't have the villain winning like that now could they?

(BTW, I knew you weren't really serious about the hooker. I decided to entertain a possible theory anyhoo o.0)

Wow, I just realized something a bit freaky. I know this isn't really news anymore, but still. A while ago I saw a movie called Hell Ride with Michael Madsen, Dennis Hopper and David Carradine. David played the main bad guy, and his character was killed by being tied to a chair and strangled with a cord. For killing a hooker, no less. Wow.

Heard a little more on the radio this morn about this...

They did an interview with one of his ex wives where she stated that he liked to be tied up, that he was meditating then. Although, she did NOT state he got any sexual gratification from this. They also said, from another ex wife, that she told a story where she came home one time and found post-it notes on the door and in the house leading to the basement. When she got there, David was strung up on a cross. He then asked her for a sandwich. (I did NOT make that last part up)

(shrugs) I am seriously hoping someone puts out his life story one day. I imagine it to be VERY interesting.

They have ruled out suicide and are now considering his death as suspicious. There are rumors he was murdered but the police have not confirmed that.

Just you guys watch it will be one of those deaths that they never really know what happend, like Kirk Cobain, Marilyn Monroe etc

I may think Nirvana was extremely overrated, but he deserves to at least have his name spelled correctly...

I agree with Coughler, though I really hope they can get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately there's too much BS in the way of the truth of what really happened to him to make it as easy as it should be...At least no-one will think he died under embarrassing conditions. Though if he was killed, I hope whoever did this gets killed in a similar manner. I know wishing harm on others is an awful thing to do, but that's how I feel. [-(

I don't know about Nirvana being overrated or not, but Kurt did commit suicide...I was agreeing with Coughler on the Marylin Munroe part. She was murdered, but I don't think anyone really can prove who did it...Sorry I didn't make that clear in my past post.

Kurt's death is a mystery because the handwriting in his "suicide" note didn't match his own. I believe it was weeks prior to his death he told Courtney he wanted a divorce. He had so much drugs in him at the time of his death that there'd be no way he'd be able to pick up the shotgun.

I may not be his biggest fan, but I don't think he killed himself. Never have, never will.

Im supsicious of her. She cashed/ing on him big time. She sold the rights to all the nirvana catalogue and remember that pricey now out of print box set? Tons of that sold, not to mention the DVD sales, radio royalties, the release of MTV unplugged. If i truly loved someone i wouldnt sell someone that was the utmost part of the person. TO be it would be like a guy selling his dead wifes engagement ring or putting up her dog for adoption.

The amount of times nirvana plays on even one radio station is crazy, Imagine the money from thousands of stations day in day out. Solve **** world hunger from radio royalites from nirvana..
