Okay, I just finished watching the Animated Premier and now I have a question:
Why are they making the Starscream toy blue? I know I have a crappy 15 year old TV (40", kinda hard to upgrade from that without spending 2 months rent!) but he looked gray to me. A darker gray than Screamer usually is but gray none the less. So why make the toy a Smurf? And before anybody suggests it, the toy we've seen is a prototype and may not have been the finalized color, making me worry over nothing. Like the Cybertronian Megatron in dark blue plastic. But still, blue or gray?

Re: Animated Starscream: Blue or Gray?
it looks more like a greyish purple.
but that is still too blue!
hopefully, its just Hasbro's way of taking photos.
but if not, I'll deal with it.
I noticed screamer's null-rays are in the wrong part of his arm.
and theres a little kibble in the back

Now the you've mentioned the null-ray, even the shoulder pads are incorrect.

Probably just poor lighting.

Yeah, those null rays are kinda annoyingly too far up on his forearm. Oh well ... still an awesome representation of the character.

The pants and the leg-wings are also wrong.
Why do they always exaggerate animation characters?

I love the blue, it makes him darker and more sinister, if he were gray, like every other freaking series, he would look like an autobot.
Skywarp is afraid of the creepy grey bar of ads.

Every series and sometimes even during the same series, Starscream has been drawn differently. I think the scoops made the character. There aren't any. I think he is a purple tinted grey. Is the show good? I don't subscribe to CN.

OH Noes! It's Beast Machines all over again. Nah.. it's probably just poor lighting when it comes to the toy.

Blue-grey brings him closer to a realistic jet color.
White jets are usually just for training use, or scientific experiments.
