Hysterical!

I thing they may need some insurance though

As for the box idea, well, it wouldn't be exact print, but a huge part of my job involves labels. I get them from 1x1 inch to full 8.5x11. I get them from staples when I run low ad am waiting for delivery.

So could one be creative with a lazer printer? Not me cause I suck at computers, but someone who doesn't could be creative with a random box :-?

I prefer the alternators more than BT.

The paint on BT tends to come off too easily....

yeah the stop motion Alternators really was cool... and shows how well they move, which is cool from an engineering standpoint, and really is what I believe the updated G-1 toy for the Generation one Adult fan..not classics..

But overall, the Box idea would be cool, and if you could do a cool design, I think it'd be easy to get one printed on glossy card stock, all you need do is get a box designed around the plastic Alternator treys that they come in, and work out the design, then take it to kinkos or some other office print store, not a professional print place cause they'll want you to get like 1000 prints for an expensive price, but Kinkos or officemax or something like that will do a one big print on cardstock, and then you just fold, glue if necessary, and Bam!! instant Alternator custom Kitbash box!!

but that's just an idea..

Either way, citrus is delicious. Oranges for me (or whichever is alternators) only Tangerine I have is clear Mirage and he is plastic anyway.

Mmm, BT with it`s die-cast parts will stay longer in perfect condition. Also bt has better chances to survive after youngest brother\sister attack.Put here cool and very carefull paintjob too.And what we have with alts?Plastic parts, not very good paintjob. And the european party has very bad plastic and paintjob :( .But alternators line has Mirage and other fantastic figures. Its great plus, holewer i sae, that BT is better.

I like them both but bought more Alts b/c of the pricepoint and how they were USUALLY easier to obtain. However toward the end had I known about the crappy as hell distribution/packing I would've bought lots more BTs.

That'll work, and be of better quality. I was just thinking of the super cheap and semi easy though

I'm really more of an Alternators guy for 3 reasons:

1) Price. This is really the biggest reason I prefer Alts over Binaltech. The latter look cool and all, but I just don't want to end up spending an average like $60 for the figures that interest me the most. When the cheapest Binaltech one can obtain is a Yellow Tracks that nobody wants for $40, you really have to examine how badly you want these over Alts.

2) Japanese boxing. Some people have hang-ups on paint jobs. Others on scale. Mine is packaging and the instructions. I just want too see a language I can remotely understand, even if it is Spanish or French. I've never bought a direct Takara TF in my life and I really don't want to start now, but I can make exceptions. Furthermore, and I know this is a generalization, but Japanese packaging often seems so garish with too many colors and graphics.

3. Names. Overdrive? I don't know any Overdrive. Give me Windcharger!

I got into Binaltechs with Prowl. I already had the Alt. version but I did not care for the baby blue on him. So, I got the BT version with Reprolabel stickers and covered up the Japanese writing on his doors.

Weapon: Atom-Smasher Cannon
I like the Binaltechs better because the weighty feel; the boxes are great for storing them; I like their paint scheme better, and they come with extras that the Alternators don't such: as Missle Launcher for BT07 Smokescream; Overdrives/Windcharger's sniper rifle; Stickers with Tracks, etc.

I can also understand why people like the Alternators better, especially when price comes into play.

Alternators. They're more affordable, they're lighter which means they're (generally) easier to pose, and they look just as good & shiny in alt mode in a display case as any Binaltech does.

I understand why some people like BT more, but imo, the line is almost too high end for its own good. There's constant issues with paint chipping, many of the figures parts are too heavy and "sag", many of the figures can't stand or pose properly, and their insanely high cost makes it virtually impossible to own doubles or easily get a replacement if necessary.

And the biggest turnoff for me is how many of them are designed with the drivers seat & steering columns on the righthand side. I live in North America, watched the North American cartoons, read the North American comics and bought the North American toys - so I expect my automobile TF's to have North American designs & steering the way they always have on my side of the pond :) It's the main reason why I chose Alts over BT, and why I never picked up figures like BTA Red Alert.
