Can someone explain about BTA to me?

Postby Bonecrusher27 » Mon Dec 03, 2007 10:58 am

Could someone explain the Binaltech asterisks BTA-01 to 03 to me, and how this came about? Am I right to say that excluding the BTAs, there are 21 in all, including 3 colour variants?

A friend is trying to get me interested and offering to sell me the lot (but without the 3 BTAs) for USD$1600. What say you all?

there would be more than 21 including all varients and exclusives.

BT 1-16

variants on 1,6,7,8,15

for 21

then exclusives for 2 more

then 3 BTA(i know you said excluding but...)
then 3 Kiss players

Thanks! Now, any advice on the price? The 21 for USD$1600. Any advice?

That's $76 per Binaltech! That doesn't sound like such a good deal for a bulk purchase. Get him to lower it to $1000 for a more reasonable offer.

Thanks Glitcher! So you're saying that bought separately, say Ebay, I would probably be able to do better than $76 per Binaltech?

it actually depends greatly on which ones are included. Many of the regular BT's approach the $100 range. Its not uncommon for white meister, smokescreen gt, skids, and lambor to see prices in this area.

If the exclusives are included then Black convoy has seen prices $400+, and mirage $150+

i'm guessing you get my point by now

I once purchased a 13pcs (10pc BT + 3pcs BTA) deal from a local collector, all MISB for avg. $58 each. I thought it was a very good deal since Wheeljack was even in the deal, considering the savings on shipping if I were to purchase them on eBay individually.

Hopefully your deal is all MISB too (full 21pc MISB BT deal is hard to come by), good luck bro!

Cheers,
