Gotta love the effort, especially that card art it looks like a real takara piece of art.
However i dont like how this stuff just clips on, its so obvious that all you do is stick these bits on, like one of those lame tuner cars with the huge body kit thats just stuck on with some screws. Aweful.
Nice idea though, but someone should kitbash this design and actually mold the pieces onto the car instead.

Naturally a remold would be better, but at least it won't simply be a recolor.

Aperently, there is a UltraMagnus (Classics) Trailer in the making that can combine with the figure to make something like his G1 armor. This won't be produced by Hasbro, Takara, or Tommy. I hate to use the term KO for such a nice product, though.

Well, that's kind of a trust thing. The Dr. guy on this thread says it's good. Says he's got a buddy who has invested in the project and that he saw pics and that it looks authentic. I've chosen to believe him because it doesn't cost me a cent to do so. I'll be let down if he's making it up, but I have always hoped for such a thing. So technically we are at rumor phase till there is some solid proof, but I just really hope it happens and I KNOW it is possible to do because I have seen such a bash and it was awesome. I think it was in the Bashing forum, but it was genious. Do you remember it?

I only remember one from that forum, and it was godaweful. It was done by someone named Tramp, and it looked like a shoe box. Now if these guys can do the same thing but actually make it look good then i'll be really impressed, but so far every attempt at this armor has ended up looking good in alt mode but big and clunky and quite bad in bot mode.

I think I remember that one too. Maybe I can find it and show you, but it is a given that I have no clue what this other one will look like.
