That's just stupid. Once a line ends, 6 months later, clearance. That's my expectation.
Yeah, but with the current TF drought, they're putting out their backstock.

Toy stores are wierd sometimes. My Toys R Us has DVD MP Prime at full price, but Primus is on clearance.
But $50? That's not too bad, really. I mean, it's like buying two Titaniums, right?
Primus is pretty good too, if you want another opinion. But all his spikes make him take alot of room in a collection. Plus his feet don't lend themselves to very many dynamic poses, but he's still got plenty to work with. He's a really great figure .... even in planet mode!

6" Titaniums retail for $16.99 , so it's more like buying 3.
It's just not logical to buy a $50 shelf warmer ... fully knowing that it will undoubtedly go on clearance after the holidays.

I seem to remember paying a bit more than that. But my memory might be faulty....

Just FYI, Cybertron Primus (without Unicrons head) was priced at $24.99 for clearance at HTS site not too long ago. If Wal-Mart/TRU can't sell this toy at full price, we might see him at dollar stores for $25 soon, like what happened with GF Prime, Metroplex, and the Ultimate Fight 2-pack at dollar chains.

Absolutely. There's not anything from the Cybertron line I could recommend more highly. The detailing on the planet alone makes him a unique addition, and in robot mode he lives up to his reputation as the Transformer god. Also, he passed the Girlfriend Test. My girlfriend had fun transforming him and declared him worth well over $40.
I have mine displayed with Unicron. Both of them point small versions of Megatron at each other, just for kicks.

If we Stickied everything that deserved a sticky, and then also stickied things like that, page 4 is where the new topics would be!

Very rarely do we get any figures go on clearance here, Cybertron Mudflap still is full price in Target... When figures do go on clearance they often are in destroyed boxes.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

my opinion is if you got Unicron then you have to have Primus. it just balances out the armada, energon, cybertron trilogy of transformers.
