Many things can cause plastic to yellow. However, given enough time, all plastice will yellow. It's in it's chemical makeup.

However, these will speed the process up.

A)Smoking.
B)Exposure to chemicals, i.e. your stinky pits!
C)Exposure to Sunlight mostly UV.
D)Heat. If the plastic heats up enough top change the chemical compounds, then breakeage and discolouring happens.

So the safest way to make sure that none of your TF yellow, is not to buy them. That way you won't be disappointed when it doesn't happen.
