Are you kidding? Why should anybody get paid for churning out ****? Would you like to buy a car that falls apart in 2 months because the well paid workers churned out ****? Of course your warranty wouldn't cover it because under your pretense they should be paid for churning out **** anyway. If you tried churning out **** where I work at, they won't just not pay you, they'll show you the door. Your logic makes no sense to me.

But maybe if they do go on strike they will hire scabs that will actually put some heart into the story and get a better movie. Just a thought.

Difference between tv/movie writers and a car?

The "****" churned out by tv/movie writers is open to interpretation by the individual. Meaning there's no clear definition of what's **** and what's not.

A car however with defects, is exactly that, churned out ****, so no, obviously I wouldn't be happy with that. Thanks for taking such a narrow minded approach to my post.
