So who takes this? I was personally disappointed by Omega Supreme's performance in the Optimus Prime Spotlight

i too was very disappointed. furman has started letting me down alot lately. i finally got a hold of the movie guide by him and it was below what i expected. in primes spotlight omega was nobody. all hype and then nothing. he pretty much stood up, had an arm pulled off and was thrown around like a rag doll. i dont care who hes fighting, that shouldnt happen to omega. even against a city transformer he should have the firepower to at least cause them pain.

omega seems to play that same role in all his appearences, no matter what comic hes in, or even in g1. he shows up, hes the be all end all, and then hes taken out and left for dead while everyone else continues the fight. the only difference is it usually takes upwards of 3 combiners or a situation where he isnt at full power, or his guard is let down. like im dreamwave, taking a full powered shot to the face by sunstorm put him down.

i wish theyd just left omega out of idw if all they were going to do was cheapen him like that. the dreamwave omega(and pretty much any other version) wins easily over idw. very very very disappointing.

Too true. I just bought prime's Spotlight issue today. Boy was I seriously disappointed. This guy's supposed to have an indomitable will, yet he gets his ass kicked around. At last versus Sunstorm he showed that he was still a tough fighter to beat.I would love to see a Spotlight issue on him, or at a massive battle between him and Devastator (or any other Gesalt for that matter).
Between DW's and IDW's 2 Omega's, i think Dream Wave's Omega has the edge.
