I know that they are now out. However, what is the future for this series? Will there be other figures released? Will these figures go quick or hang around for a while?

I want the OP and Megs. $50 a pop seems good, however, I want them for less. Is that likely or will the price only go up?

If it follows the trend of all the previous releases they will go way up.

Japan doesn't release these things on the scale that Hasbro does in America but even when Hasbro did reissue Prime, Screamer and Soundwave on a massive scale they went way up.

You aren't going to get these reissues any cheaper than what you can right now with Encore.

It's the best price it's ever been for either. I doubt it will go any lower than that. Unless Hasbro reissues Optimus Prime again with altered pipe stacks, big missles, and no spring launcher for roller. I doubt Hasbro will ever reissue Megatron. I got already #6 bookstyle Megatron. The box is already yellowing some. So I decided to get encore Megatron with the classic 80's box without the annoying flap. Skipped Optimus. Cause I have the original movie g1 Optimus Prime order away special along with 2002 Hasbro reissue Optimus Prime which I got for 40 bucks at toysrus on November 2002.
Lucky I got a hold of one thanks to the manager there who looked on back for a case. He handed me one. The week after they were all gone when I looked.

If you want them I suggest you get them now, BBT just got my Soundwave and Starscream in so Ill have them soon, along with my Prime (even though I have the 2002 TRU reissue). I got Megatron from another online store because they ship them unmodified.

Are the Encore's the same as the G1 originals? Can you tell the difference once they're out the box?

Good point, but what's the point if the box says "Encore" or "reissue" on it? Is there anything like that anywhere? Box or figure?

Hmmm... BBTS told me my wife's Soundwave is in, but they have not told me that my 'Set of All 4' is in.

Perhaps they are having a hard time making full sets? They probably have like 10 Megatrons sitting around and everything else is bought up, or maybe Megs is not in yet due to the modifying, which means they'd have to wait on that part of the pre-order for me.

Yeah, I'm getting a modded one. For historical purposes. I have the TFC #6 unmodded, and the EHobby Megaplex, so I'm not too worried about it.

In term of mold, they are pretty much the same. Can one tell the difference between the Encore and the original/reissue? yes.
So far, the Encore Prime, Starscream has painted decal not sticker. Prime shoulder decal is now painted just like Pepsi Prime. Starscream nosecone sticker is also painted. No word for Soundwave or Megatron yet. Also Encore Starscream canopy is clear/ transparent as oppose to tinted in the original/reissue.

Too bad for everyone who has waited to order the Prime,
at least from BBTS.
Looks like the price jumped 10 dollars from the original pre-order price and it doesn't say it is in stock like the SS.
