Outside of talking about team work to much, I thought it was great.

It was a great, more mature follow up to Armada.

Dead Megatron was just disturbing, and when Megatron beat then strapped Scorponok to the meteorish thing so he'd be burnt up in the Energon Grid!

That's good evil right there!

I also love how when he did return he ripped off Hot Shots arm. Dismemberment in Energon was awesome.

What I also liked was that they didn't just end it after Unicron was destroyed, instead they continued with the combiners chapter. They could have skipped all that, but I'm glad they didn't.

Also, for humans, they weren't to bad, Kicker was a scraper, Rad came into his own and was pretty cool when he made WingSaber, that other chick was cool, and the scientist guy kept checking out everyones ass.

Human wise, they are probably the best we've gotten.

The toys, well, some did suck, but that's in any series. Still the variety of different things they tried in one line just makes all those show acurate figures worth while :APPLAUSE:

Wow, I have no idea what most of Liege Evilmus's references mean, but I sure do like the sound of some of it! I never was able to see any episode of Energon, nor just about any episode of any TF series in the last 20 years, but Energon likely appealed to me the most in overall concept. Plenty of updated G1 characters with a smattering of new characters is right up my alley and liked the overall aesthetics of what I have seen.

I only have Prowl and Rodimus from this line and I really enjoy the powerlinking concept; I thought it was one of the cooler twists in recent lines(far better than Cyber Keys, at least). I'm not terribly upset that I missed out on purchasing anything else from this line(maybe Galvatron, now I think about it), but I think the toys compared pretty favorably to the Cybertron line. Whereas the latter is probably designed more ingeniously, I think Energon's toys had more *fun* attached to them than the Cybertron line, which looked good for the most part, but just don't seem to scream "TRANSFORM ME!" when you see it sitting on a shelf and many of its better toys had overly simple transformations.

I hate Kicker :-x And all the other humans. Galvitron should have squashed Kicker instead of Sixshot!

It was a good series, but better in the subtitled version, many more smaller parts make sense, but thats mainly because of a poor translation into English (similar to what happened with Armada and even Cybertron).

Good strong toys across all size classes, with only a few fizzer toys.

If you can track down the episodes, it's worth your time, it may start out slow like Armada, but it really picks up after about a dozen episodes or so.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

From Liege Evilmus' comments, Energon seems worth my limited internet time to look for episodes. I just finished Cybertron and that left me hungry for more TF goodness. I initially steered away from Energon due to 'Fatimus" Prime. Now it smells like a winner.

OK, you have to tell the uninitiated among us WTH that means!

I've only ever seen a few Energon eps, but they were OK. I wanted to slap Kicker most of the time. What the hell kinda name is that, anyway? A last name, OK, but I hope it wasn't his first name- maybe that's why he was such a brat.

The toys were great mostly- Energon and the movie form the bulk of my 230+ TF collection.
