I'm interested in collecting Female transformers. Does anybody here have female transformers in their collections? Can anybody tell me a bit more about them and where I can go to find out more?

Well, I have Elita-One in my collection (after the first one is was really hard to leave some on the pegs).
I like her. Small, easy to transformer, of suitable substance. (It was very hard not to immediatly start going after the other variants of the mold).

In other words, the Energon Arcee had quite a few repaints and some reworks (partly convention exclusives), she would make a fair collection all of her own.

I'm sure, someone will be along, listing all available female transformers. There is Black Arachnia (more than one version, I believe) and Movie Deluxe Arcee, and that one fe/male Transformer from Cybertron.

This article and subsequent list are awesome starting points. Not everyone has a toy (many don't), but that's where a little kitbashing comes in.

Right now I have both versions of movie!Arcee, Energon/Universe!Arcee, Nemesis Strika, movie!Elita, Crystal Widow, Roulette, and Shadow Striker. And probably Spiral, now that I think about it, but I'd have to double-check.
