I think last week's "Time machine that can only go forward in time" episode is classic Futurama.

Doesn't that contradict what they found out from Roswell That Ends Well?

Then again, we're talking about Futurama continuity.

Farnsworth designed it that way so no one would do something stupid in the past, like sleeping with their grandmother. Plus he didn't want to create the time paradox issues that happened in Bender's Big Score.

Technically, it still worked like it did in Bender's Big Score. Paradoxes didn't exist with the time code because any duplicates would eventually be destroyed Final Destination style. After their second loop through time, the Time machine accidentally crushed duplicates of Fry, Bender, and the Professor, and the Professor even says it ends the paradox.

Last week episode is cool as well. The whole creation vs evolution argument had a a creative compromise to it that supported both theories. Of course the ending where everyone laughs at Bender (in disbelief) when he revealed the actual origin of the universe was a great call back.




Oh, the call back is when Bender played god and then met God.
