Was their ever a "G1" recolor of Energon Insecticon? I figured Hasbro would of repainted this for the classics line to look like BombShell.

Could have been a good Botcon drone repiant too. But to answer your question, there is no such repaint.

That indeed would have been a nice repaint.
Energon Insecticon/Chromehorn is nice.
Hopefully we can get some Insecticon love in the new Classics Universe.

Yeah, that would have been cool. Of all the G1 homages to do, the Insecticons have really been ignored (but we got 100 000 Thundercrackers, Skywarps, Hot Rods and Ultra Magnuses!)

I was one of the few who really, really loved the E-Insecticon mold. It's still one of my obscure favourites.

I like the mold too. It was one of the few Energon figures I decided to keep, although I'd like it a lot more if it was painted like that custom!

Nice, this was a mold I wasn't to pleased with. It had potential, it just didn't deliver.

A retro color scheme like that would realy help. Hell I hate repaints, but I'd buy it agin if they did this.

Wow, Pure awesome. If only i had spare Insecticon. Maybe hasbro should stop the repaints of the movie toys and repaint older molds.

I still need to get the Forest type E Insecticon.
You really would have thought the Yellow/Black/Purple/Chrome
color scheme would have been an obvious repaint.
