That would be Beast Machines Night Viper--one of the coolest non-show Maximals from that line, IMO. You'll want to make sure the robot head is turned around for the full effect, though.

Non-show beastwars/beastmachines characters seemed to get one shot at life unless they were picked up by a japanese series and reused

True on Night Viper, but Mirage, Spy Streak, and Scavenger were all in RID. Blast Charge, another repaint of Spy Streak, and Battle Unicorn all got repaints in Universe.
