Holy H... Leader Brawl's Arms!
Guys, does anyone here have problems trying to transform Leader Brawl from bot to alt mode? I am having the hardest time at that stage when you're trying to tuck his arms in just right so that the tire treads line up pat, and that last panel can be pulled to the front. Is there a guide anywhere, anyone written anything or filmed any video, directly addressing this problem?
Or maybe it's just me along having this problem

you aren't alone! i thought I was the only one with the problem!!! it's always the right arm, it never quite goes in enough!

Thanks, Tweezy

It's really a pain, you have to fiddle around with it. Once you do it a few times it'll get less and less annoying. They really have to be perfectly lined up.

I have no way of showing you a pic, but my brawl was the same way. I eventualy found out that you have to work his arm in from the sholder down.
first, at the elbow joint. tun it 180 degees. next, take sholder and press it into the opening. then put the fold out weapon into the let. now just bend the elbow backwards until the grey weapon pivot is aginst the groove in the leg and the pannel should line up now.

This is what I have to do too. I debated this technique or just tearing his arms off but this is definitely the better long term solution.

sound advice. I've kept my Brawl in bot mode for this reason, too

I agree. His bot mode is pretty impressive.

Leader brawl is amazing. I did spend a good hour or so in front of the tv with him, the arms were hard. Just keep playing with them, try absolutely anything. you don't really even need to force him, you will find out. Sometimes you hold one part while transforming another, seems to be something i discovered him.
The gold plating on his upper arms should be facing down towards the ground.

Hahah I was having this problem the FIRST time I transformed him, figured it out really quick.
Basically, every joint has to be turned in a certain way that fits PERFECT along the body, so like 3-4 points you have to rotate it until it fits onto the body like it traces. And viola~!
But as stated, I am totally in love with his bot mode, way awesome!

My new Leader Class Megatron doesn't have any such transforming difficulties like the Brawls do.
LOL

Thanks guys! I got him in at last, but I'm not satisfied since one of the tabs isn't perfectly aligned. I'm just going to keep trying. It's definitely got to be something I'm doing wrong, because the right is perfect. I'm trying very hard to see any difference between either side; I've a feeling it's some little degree I'm off by on the left that prevents the tread from going in.

I have the same problem with my Leader Brawl as well. I display my TF's in bot mode anyways so it has been a huge issue. Besides I need a Leader class substitute to pose toe to toe with OP.
Brawl is what Megs should've been in my opinion. But I can respect the writers making Megatron arrogant enough that he doesn't think he needs an earth alt mode.

Its not really difficult, but hard to spot at first, when you thought the arms already lined up. You just have to make sure the arm joints are at the farthest 'click' ratchet in that bent position. And sometimes a hard nudge from the side on those arms helps to push them in. And its this same issue that cause people having problem with the side panels 'automorph' by itself in tank mode when it shouldn't. Mainly because they missed this same step. INCORRECT TRANSFORMATION, with not enough clearance for those panels to sit perfectly, which leads to the panel clips not clipping them tight enough.
