Be thankful you're not a guy I recently met: he wrapped some candles in petrol soaked paper and put them on his cake, he was 30 too. when he lit them, he caught on fire, and burnt a part of his body that men get very sensitive about.
His cake was ruined, too.

I hit my 30th back on Dec. 24th. The thing that made it really sink in was that I was watching Total Recall the other day and realized thet, damn, that movie is 20 years old. I can still remember sneaking in to see it because the person selling tickets wouldn't let me in. If only time flowed as slowly as it did when we were young

I hit 32 myself yesterday; celebrated by going bowling, eating my body weight in steak at Ryan's buffet, and watched 9 (pretty good movie).

I hit 30 on August 30th. The only reason it mattered to me was because my girlfriend threw mw a Tf themed party. To me, turning 30 only mattered to everyone else. I love having birthdays (toys, party, cake, drinking... all good things). I don't feel old because I have had 30 parties.

I'm 31 and feel like I'm outgrowing stuff. I've cut back on buying toys like StarWars last year and this year I'm cutting back on comic books.
