Postby Danish-Liokaiser » Sat Dec 01, 2007 1:18 pm

To all of you who dosn't know what IGA / Mexican G1 Transformers is : http://tfarchive.com/toys/articles/mexican_invasion.php

Okay so these IGA G1 Tformers looks slightly diffrent, and then they are lead paintet, but if i am right they are worth quite much, i saw an auction on Ebay a few weeks ago, IGA Mexican White colored Bumblebee*, was sold for 100$ loose !

I myself own the Grey IGA Starscream
IGA Constructicon Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Mixmaster and Scavenger.
Aswell as IGA Inferno and Dinobot Snarl.

Can anyone comfirm what they are worth in US $?

*The "Bumblebee" could have been a Cliffjumper, but what do i know :P *

So, they are the real Mexicons.
I can't imagine them being that valuable, but rare=cash.

Indeed.

Because of the lead paint they had to stop the production of them, so there isn't so that many of em.

Rareness means Careness, and Careness in my world means ... yea like you said " Cash " ... *Joking*

I have. Its not very often to see any IGA's on there, again they are rare.

A white IGA Bumblebee was set for 100$
And IGA Trailbreaker was like 50$
And i have seen a ... uhm ... a purple gears there was set for 200$ ... so

Im not very sure! ...

When I was a kid I got the Mexican Prime with the bloody eyes. It's pretty bust up though, doubt it's worth much.

Yeah, they are worth more. I was going after that loose white Bumblebee, but once it hit $100, I was out.

They are worth more because they are rarer.

All of the repainted minibots from south and central America are worth more.

The easiset to find is Antex, from Peru, they repainted Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Windcharger.

Next are the Mexican vcariants, they can fetch some weird prices, but not consistantly.

Last are the Estala minibots from Brazil. Those f#ckers always go for $100+.
