We all know finding classics megs is impossible so I was thinking of gettinng a KO Megs they're cheaper and I'd repaint G1 colors on him. He also has a light in his cannon. Is this a bad idea becuase I never bought a KO before

That's the same company that's putting out the KO Shockwave with crazy two eyed head! They seem sturdy, but I don't know anyone one who had either.
If you're the first, post a review so we can all find out.

I got a KO Classics Megs. But without the lightings.
He's sturdy enough. A bit loose on some parts. But not loose enough to prevent exciting poses or to cause an arm to fall down.
Here's some pics.

nice G1 Megs see instead of buying a normal classics Megs for at least 40 bucks or more on ebay just get this since if I got a classics Megs I'd just repaint him G1 colors plus those lights could be cool in a stopmotion or something. Now Grimlock is the only classics left
if you don't coun't the repainted botcon exclusive Seekers

There hasn't been one single Classics anywhere in my area as soon as the protofors were released

What part of Michigan are you at? The Wallmart at Hall & Gratiot had a ton of classics last time I was there and even a ton of Cybertron line. Jetfire, Prime, Bumblebee, Mirage, Ramjet. Might be gone now though, this was right before Christmas. You may want to check there.

that sounds and light bootleg looks cool! they have different heads, though...
i do have a bootleg classics Megatron, and I'm really enjoying it!
i have an ongoing WIP thread at the kitbash forums, and there's this "take your punishment like a decepticon" thread I just posted here.

Hey Auto Bot, you got a step by step recipe guided for that repaint of KO Megs? I'm eyeing a KO Classics Astrotrain for a repaint. I need to know wher you got your paints.

I'm a beginner when i made that. First timer.
I just used Tamiya paints, and 2 sizes of paint brush. One about 3mm wide, the other small pointed one.
I didn't take apart the toy. I used the pointed brush to reach into the joints.
