Marvel Comics EIC Jim Shooter passes at 73

Originally via Mark Waid on Facebook, it's being reported that Marvel Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter has passed away from esophageal cancer at the age of 73. Shooter wrote the original story treatment for The Transformers at Marvel, and I think it's fair to say that - for all his flaws - the Transformers brand would not be where it is today without him.
