Hey all, I just wanted to pass the word to all of you that MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries was just released for free by MekTek, with their MekPak mods (even the IS and Clan 'Mech Paks) included.

There will eventually be more updates to come as well to make the game even more sim-like than it already is (hopefully as sim-like as MechWarrior 2).

Man, that game is old. Great gameplay, but i've been getting my mech fix via the Armored Core series.

I was a huge Mechwarrior fan back in the day. Too bad this coincides with studying for finals, but i will still dl it anyway.How competitive is the MW4 scene?

Well, we are getting more players in every day. It's nice to see full 16 and 24 player servers again
