They are putting Chekov in this one? WTF? he's 13 years younger than Kirk is. He didnt even graduate from the academy until Kirk had command of the Enterprise for two years already.
When the hell is this movie set again????
Well their not sayin that Chekov is going to be a crew member. He could just be the child of an officer at the starbase. But they have changed the ages of some of the other crew, for exsample Kirk and Scotty originaly had about a 15 year difference between them much like the actors them selfs but durring the casting faze of this new film they changed the difference to about 5 years between Kirk and Scotty.

I have all the ages on my other computer but the motherboard got fried so it might be a while before I get it fixed but I think around 25 to 28 years of age.I could be wrong thou.

That would be ok, but it would make more sense to have it there for repairs or upgrades since it was built when Kirk was like 12

Plot details are begin kept under wraps, but it is understood that the movie chronicles the early days of the Enterprise crew. The lead roles remaining to be cast are Christopher Pike, the first captain of the Enterprise, and Kirk's parents
Little they know about Trek history
IT WAS ROBERT APRIL!!!!
I wish they posted pics of these actors

Hey, thats one good thing if they got Chekov right
And I do like Simon Pegg, so I'll probably let some minor things slide
And I agree Wheeljack35, they really should put April in there. I'm sure many fans would appreciate that

Hmm, interesting news about the casting.
I'm in two minds about this. I like Abrams work, but I have this nagging in the back of my mind that this is gonna be a disaster. It would be sweet to see the 1701 in a refit or something. Perhaps it's in spacedock as Kirk and Spock are being transferred to the Spacedock and Kirk makes a comment that one day, he will be captain of a ship like that. But they don't dwell on it, it's just a passing statement.
All the accents had better be in place here.

There was a novel or 2 that stated that they were at the acadamy together but as you know the novels are never canon.

Come to think of it, has anything been mentioned in show about when Kirk, Spock and McCoy first met?

Now I understand why my Trekkie friend wants to help un-canonize (sp?) Enterprise (TV show, NOT the ship).
Moving on, were there any other TOS ep scripts made before its cancellation?
