Paintless Alt Bluestreak - Quickie Redeco

I bought a Ricochet for a repaint and decided that the hood would be a great fit for Silverstreak. G1 Bluestreak was based on the 10th anniversary edition of the 280 Z, hence the black hood and top, but since the new one is a WRX only the hood is black, Carbon Fiber I guess. I just cleaned the crappy fire paintjob from the hood with some Testors airbrush thinner. The result is a nice and shinny black hood, no paint needed. If you want to be G1 accurate you can change the front and rear windows and roof.

Very nice. Simple, effective with a great result...just the way I like it.
If I didn't use BT Streak as my Silverstreak, I'd most certainly would do this.

heh I've found that Ricochet is the best bash tool yet...
his hood roof trunk and rear windows to silver streak allow for a g1 bluestreak as noted above
his helmet, waist, upper legs and forearms on Alert make for a great g1 prowl
leaving a great basis for any number of bot's or cons as for me I'm leaning towards Bombshell
