Long story short, Soundwave revives Megatron, after stealing the Ark and coming to Earth. Megatron (Now "Uber" of sorts), beats the crap out of Prime, Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus are characters in this. Don't believe me? Look here:

Apparently, the script has been confirmed as authentic by officials, but may not be used.
