movie scorponok has a size advantage, but beast wars scorponok probably has greater firepower as well as a workable robot mode. although hes not particularly intelligent, beast wars scorponok would have a huge advantage as far as tactics go, with movie scorponok being barely sentient and relying on ambush, or straight out attack.

because of the huge advantage the movie version has in the sand, the first version of this fight happens in the desert in the same village movie scorponok fought the soldiers, and the second is on more solid terrain, with alot of rocks and trees and such.

BW is more intelligent, as far as I know. As long as he stays alert and has good weapons, he should win. BW has a bee drone for reconnaissance. Movie is basically a drone that can't even transform.
