Sharpie Metallic Paint Pens
Just wanted to let everyone know how much you can do with 2 sharpie paint pens
they are about 3 bucks, and you get gold, and silver. They really make sculpted details look great on movie figs! sorry for the horrible picture quality, but it looks awesome, trust me.

My gf used the silver sharpie (same one Mythbusters use for a bit of trivia) to color some parts on her Bumblebee when she got him. Looked good, for about a day. Then it started rubbing off and even smearing onto other parts.

Easy easy.
Anyway, I still prefer the Testors paint I used on mine, just to be safe.

I guess you would have to ask the company that produces Sharpies that question.
We get normal sharpie texta's, in various colours, we get the mini Sharpie Text'as in so dozens of colours and heavy duty/laundry black sharpies.
But no Metallic, or paint varities.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I too use the Sharpie Paint pens, and just so happened to paint up that very part of Barricade.
The silver paint does have a problem with curing all the way and sealing itself. On warm days, it feels kinda gummy to the touch. On cold (or less humid days) it's fine, perfectly fine.
The other colors (Red, Black, etc) hold up pefectly and dry almost instantly. It's insane how quick they dry. In 24 hours, they were dry to the touch and haven't chipped or rubbed off once.
Silver and gold take longer because of their metallic nature. It looks to me as though there's some actual metal flakes in it, like the plastics in the TransFormers we own.
I'm guessing that's why they don't hold as well.
