Kind of a 2 part story, so bare with me..

So last night/this morning around 5:30 I get this bad nightmare where my woman and I are asleep in bed when suddenly there's a man in the room, (you know the kind of nightmare where you don't know you're dreaming?) So I jump out of bed and tackle the guy and am in the process of trying to tear his throat out of his neck when, in the struggle, we knock over my bookshelf full of Transformers and I wake up heart pounding. Because of fighting the guy? Not so sure, I think I woke up because I thought we'd just broken all my Transformers. Kinda funny.

So anyway, I'm trying to get back to sleep while cruising the TF message boards, (*gotta love having a wireless laptop next to the bed) and am just starting to doze off, when from outside I hear, "KITTY!! KITTY!! KITTY!!" over and over. Turns out some crazy bee-otch is outside trying to feed the alley cats bog knows what. I watched for a moment hoping they'd attack her and share her with the rats, but no such luck.

So I'm trying to get back to sleep, and someone starts mowing the lawn, this is like 8-8:30.

When that's done I try to get back to sleep, someone else starts mowing a lawn.

Trying to get back to sleep, now there's someone outside with a weedwhacker.

I gotta be at work at 12, so I don't think I'm gonna get back to sleep. Yet another day running purely off of caffeine. But I am going TF hunting after work, so wish me luck.

just thought I'd share, kind of amusing in a "wish it hadn't happened" kind of way.

You should be getting up at 5:30 anyway.
Ya' young whipper-snappers, why in my day we only slept 3 hours
'fore we went out and started tilling the fields again.
I'd say "Mom, i got a long hard day ahead of me."
She would say "Dad,I packed you a picnic lunch caus'n
I know you'll be over on the far side o' the fields today."
I'd gather up the strongest and the oldest of my sons and we
would work that field until 1 hour after sundown, tilling those fields with nothing but candle light.

Lol, I'm 30.

Yeah when I was a kid I rubberbanded newspapers to my feet and walked 10 miles through 3 feet of snow to get to school. Uphill both ways!
