Oh my, so much hate for Sixshot! I feel I must intercede for his honor. Poor bot can't defend himself, after all.

Yeah, I hate munchkin invulnerable asskicking characters too. But I actually found Cliffjumper WAY more annoying in that regard in his Spotlight. (I bought the first melee, but the second, when he kills everyone and takes the ship? No way, hombre).

My point is, if you accept it in Cliffjumper, you should at least tolerate it in Sixshot. Unlike Autobots, Decepticons are trained to be warriors--it makes sense they'd be more...ummm, badasser(?) than Autobots.

I dont accept it with Cliffjumper. In fact I find the idea of Cluffjumper being a premier warrior, assassin, hell premier anything, to be pretty laughable. I like Sixshot as a character, but the writers like him too much seeing as how he seems invincible.

Well, then, you get the loophole. If you don't accept it with Cliffy, feel free to kvetch about it with Sixshot with my blessing. In fact, I'll even help! Yay!

I think the writers might be trying to expand the bad guys beyond the usual Megsy/Screamer stuff, and they've fallen in love with Sixshot as a result. If you just take the specs--tortured past, unreasonable master, merciless hardass--you have the formula for any number of modern Hollywood antiheroes. He's what's fashionable in villainy at the moment.

HK, admit it: he's still way better than the movie's portrayal of The Fallen.

Yeah, and you just have to have that sneaking feeling that whatever Sixshiot got in the trade for Jhiaxus' tech someone includes invincibilty. I can see that one coming on like a hurricane.
Somethign I've come to automatically expect but universally dislike aboutthe Spotlights is that they almost invariably portray one (Auto)bot [usually and thusfar] just mangling everyone else. Prime beat Monstructor. Jazz beat the friggin' Predacons. Haven't seen the CJ one yet. On the Decepticon side, Shockwave stalemated the Dinobots AGAIN. Sixshot may have 'bested' the Reapers, but that seemed believable becuase he didn't really beat anyone, just won the day. So, the basic Spotlight theme is that one Autobot can win the war singlehandedly but just never does, and the Decepticons just slink around (Ramjet, Soundwave) and accomplish nothing. How about some actual stories?

I think that may be a little forced, given how Sixshot is being portrayed by IDW at present. He enjoys what he does too much to switch teams. Just my thought, and I wouldn't count yours out.
