Have you watched completely unrelated movies and mentally overlayed the characters, locations and scenarios with Tranformers?

Does the following sound crazy or oddly familiar...

I heralded in the New Year by me and my husband watching the old gang movie "Blood In Blood Out" and attributing the characters and stories in to a sort of "Casseticons Origin" story, with Laserbeak as the main character and the other Cassettes and some various 'con and 'bots as supporting roles.

Yes, there was some beer involved that night, but there was also a scrapload of laughs and as the night progressed, it became increasingly easier to do.

So have you ever done it? Which movies?

Probably to a lesser extent I overlayed the cast of Beast Wars on the cast of Star Trek: Voyager...
