They are great figures, but not worth 300 for a measly sword. Get the cheaper one if you can. The Sword IMHO is not really worth it.
What is it with the Japanese and Swords that are 3 times larger than the person/robot wielding them any way?
It was o.k when Voltron pulled out his sword and sliced his enemies in half, but come on the sword sizes are getting extremely ridiculous.

Did you see the Chinpopomon Episode of South Park? Remember the second japanese guy and what his boss said about him? Overcompensation for that on a subconscience cultural level.
Or cause swords are awesome.

Movies, TV series love to over dramatize swords. In fact 95% of the weapons you see weilded would either be far to heavy or to brittle to used effectively as a sword. But they look cool on camera.
I actually love my Omega Prime. And he has a special place to because he was one of the few figures I picked up at Botcon 05. $50 for both figures MiB.

I think the only robot that looks good with a sword , and its not a huge sword, its a decent sized sword. Is R.I.D/Car Robots Scourge/Black Convoy. With his blood red sword. Maybe even Vector Prime, but it needs a hard plastic sword not the Hasbro rubbery one.

Agreed, except for the red. Black Battle Convoys "energon pink" sword looks cooler to me.
