I second the vote for 0Alt. Prime.
Grimlock/Wheeljack are a pc. of cake once you get the arms down pat.
Prime is just a freakin mess. (Going back to truck mode.)
I actually never want to transform him again.
Think of Star Wars Episode III, when anakin killed all of the "animals" that were responsible for his mothers death. After that scene, Anni goes back and confesses what he did ...
"They were animals, so I killed them all ... I HATE THEM (silly little lip quiver)"
yeah, I hate transforming Alt. Prime that much.
If you don't remember the scene in the movie, go check it out ... funny as hell. You'll rewind it at least 3 or 4 times while laughing hysterically.

Movie Ironhide and Leader Megatron tie for the most *annoying* to transform the first time, but by no means the hardest on subsequent tries...I think Leader Prime gets that nod.
Alternator Rumble is hard to get "just so" so that he doesn't look like ass in car mode (hard for a Civic to not look like ass, though, I know...

MP Megatron and Starscream are rough. Starscream is like porcelain, and Megs arm are a pain in the arse!!!
Alt. Prowl is a pain too. The doors on mine love to pop off.

yeah, the arms are just a PITA to put in together! i never even succeeded ONCE in putting together his alt mode without the ugly seams showing thru, he just won't fit together nicely. it's the only car in my collection that has ugly cracks all over because of his stupid transformation process.

first time i tried to transform LC OP, i had to sweat it out with the instructions because the hood cover for the egine part (argh!) looked and felt kinda flimsy, and i got stuck figuring out how to transform his legs into the front part of the truck.
all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

Big Convoy/ Universe Nemesis prime get my vote.
So damn hard to transform that I have not bothered with it again. Luckily he looks sooo damn good in robot mode.
I also had trouble with Alternator Dead End.
Some of the movie figures are quite hard too, but that's moreso because they feel like they will shatter, than anything else.

I'm a newb (woot, first post!) but my vote goes to Leader Megatron. I've spent an hour on him and he's still stuck in half robot/half vehicle mode.....
Then again, i'm never going to win a world record for transformation speeds.

of the toys i have, my 2 binaltechs:meister and lambour, lambour is the easier of the two, but he loses paint constantly. meister is no fun atall. MP megatron, very fiddly as we all know but i quite enjoy transforming that one. Of the simpler toys i have i find the most annoying is my vintage diaclone porsch aka gen 1 jazz, its not difficult but the midsection and the head part you have to fiddle about with to get back to car mode and it gets looser every time!! I may just have to get a cyber slammer!!

Movie Ironhide for me...He got that one little step at the
waist, and if you miss it, you gotta backtrack. Took me an
hour to realize that.
Hate that damn thing!

For me its Alternator Tracks. Those damn legs... They're so stiff and I'm alway afraid of breaking something when pulling them out and folding them back to car mode.

MP Megs gets my vote. I transformed him into gun mode once and probably never again until I need to move. Wow, it was a pain. I'm generally pretty tolerant and enjoy the challenge of a complex transformation, but the combination of knowing how expensive he was and the fragile feeling to some of his parts make me not want to push my luck.
Cybertron Smokescreen is a close runner up, if only for getting his arms back into the right place for his alt mode.
While we're on the subject, I just got the Energon Aerialbots and my Stormjet is really a pain to attach the other bots to his leg "knobs". Is this commonplace or did I get a crap figure?

For me I have to say Movie Barricade. He has gotten a bit easier to transform, but the third time I was trying to get him into car mode I ended up cutting my finger. Movie Bumblebee would give me trouble as well when trying to put the guns in his hands while in car mode, I would get them in, then the whole front and door would try to go back to robot mode, so now I just keep him in robot form.
10th Anniversary Optimus Primal/Energon Beast Optimus Prime would give was frustrating because the center part would keep getting stuck.

Beast Wars Megatron. You know, the dragon. I've had him for years and he is still is only half transformed. Now I've lost the instructions. Curse you Megatron!

I (through Hasbro's assistance) can help you with that!

The instructions are for the Target store exclusive Cryotek. However, he's merely a repaint of the TMII Megatron Dragon mold. The instructions will work for you.
Good luck!
