Dallas Wins Again!

Now I get to see who will be second and third in the East with the Beagle and Gnats.

SO the Bears have benched Rex Grossman. Now we can pretty much write off this season. We have too many serious defenive injuries now for the offense to overcome. THe bad thing is that it doesn't look like there will be a QB to draft this year; no one is really distinguishing themselves in the college ranks this year. One Colt is having issues, the other plays in a bad conference and has a weak schedule. No one else is even noteworthy. Looks like another few years of QB misery in Chicago.

There are a few QB options for drafting. There always are. Just because they do not seem to be playing against the best talent, or at the top of their position, scouts will find players who are able to play in the NFL.

You can always hope McNabb comes free after this season.

The Bears are infamous for not being able to judge QB's. Cade McNown? Grossman? THe last regular QB we had was SID LUCKMAN and he retired in the 40's! It's worse than the Cubs' search for a third baseman after Ron Santo retired (he should be in the HOF BTW). I don't trust Jerry Angelo to make a good choice and the carousel will go on.

ANY GIVEN SUNDAY!!

I say that because after the stomping the Bucs laid on the Panthers this week, as well as the Saints and Rams over that last few weeks, they go to Indy this week. Not saying they can't beat the Colts because I think the Bucs have a shot, but it will not be easy.

The Boys are looking good this season as are the Packers. It will be nice to see some different teams fighting for the post season this year.

Blech. Well that Steeler game certainly was ugly. I sure hope that was their bad game for the season and won't continue. Plus we lost Polamalu, Casey Hampton, and Chris Hoke for most of the game, and who knows how much longer.

And to top it all off I had to root for the Browns.

The Patriots losing would make me happy though. But I'm certainly not thinking that that will happen.

Same here. It's great to see Moss get back into his groove, it's just a shame it's with the Pats.

I really hope the Cowboys can pull off a victory against them. I'm already sick hearing about a 16-0 season for the Pats. I mean come on we just finished the first quarter of the season and they are already talking undefeated when they have the Cowboys, Colts and Steelers to play this season.

I think the Patriots and Colts are the two best teams. Those two square off in Week 9.

It's cute that you think the Cowgurls are in the same league as the Patsies. I have no love for NE but they are simply the greatest team in the league this year. Not even Indy compares.

Oh, and their top two defensive players haven't even played a game yet.

Pats will murder any team that is put in front of them. Wouldn't even matter if it was the All Star Legacy Assassin team from Madden '08 with players that could turn invisible. Vrabel would still score all over them. Seriously, a linebacker with 9 catches for 9 TDs?

And Randy Moss has the blown the doors off the league at this point. Hell, even backup Sammy Morris had his way with Cincin. In short, it doesn't even matter who plays for NE, Belicheck molds them into super star caliber players somehow.

Could be worse, you could have given up your best player for what may ultimately end up being the worst QB in the league at this point in the season... oh wait, never mind that comparison deal. Yeah the Dolphins are garbage and are in contention for the number one overall pick next draft.

Now lets see if Trent Dilfer will be able to knock that huge chunk of rust off his arm against Baltimore today, Niners win and we move back into a tie for first.
